Prior to asking a question, I thought it is a good idea to start with an agreed-upon terminology. Nymphomania is defined as (Merriam-Webster) excessive sexual desire by a female. Plain and simple. now I think it has been downgraded a little because I am no where near as bad. I don't goto a restaurant and picture myself in wild 3 ways with the Waiter and front desk girl. Your description of civvies with day jobs who get into escorting because of hypersexuality, "nymphomania", or just a high libido combined with a wish to avoid emotional commitment, is spot on. A business arrangement makes things easier for everyone in this regard. Of course, you can still be friends with those with whom you do business, or not, as you both wish and agree.
