I spotted this article in the British press. The jeans worn by Emily Ratajkowski rise delightfully to her belly button! Notice how the back pockets seem to be smiling up at us. A guy can admire the whole curve of her derriere (in "portrait" format, if you will).
By contrast, today's low-rise jeans (fat-ass "landscape" format) are atrociously unflattering to a woman's figure. The back pockets face downward and get sat on. And who likes muffin-tops?
Anyone out there share my sentiments

I agree, high waisted jeans definitely bring out the best....
As a guy who came of age in the late 60s, I cut my sexual teeth (so to speak) on good-looking women my age wearing normal-waisted jeans. (Heck, I still do!) Back then, manufacturers were just beginning to design jeans for women.

I feel cheated by the missing denim. Also, when tops cover belt lines (as in the center and right photos), the curve of the ass and hips is actually disguised.
I'm your generation, and I like a girl's jeans to be "tall" – like the blonde's in the link below.
If - and it's a big if - a woman has the proper shape low cuts accentuate the hips and belly. Love to see em with a bare midriff in the summer. Unfortunately, I see more girls wear them that shouldn't than I do girls that can actually rock the look.
