Is it me or have you as well stopped checking out the site because it's very annoying and difficult to navigate through? I used to check it EVERYDAY and now I MIGHT check it twice a month, because it's so annoying. The way it was back before they changed it was so simple, easy and user friendly. I used to love the recently added and traveling sections. I have been giving it a chance and going back thinking maybe I'm just "hating change". But then I realized again that I'm just "hating IT"! Maybe I'm just not getting what they are trying to do. So with that being said... They lost me.
Maybe they can do like some sites that give you an option if you want to go back to original format.

They are still a reputable form of verification accepted by a lot of providers, but I agree with you they old site was not perfect with scrolling ability. Instead of correcting the complaint, they made the site worse.
I agree about the verification comment, but P411 is a reputable verification site as well and that's still is user friendly.
And I TOTALLY AGREE with the bad to worse as well.
The point of this whole thread is, that hopefully enough people will feel the same way and they will see this, take the comments positively and make the right choices this time.
Whomever (webmaster) sold them on the present concept needs to refund Kathy right now.
RS2K and Kathy please listen to your audience.

I completely agree. I used to take the time for rs2k and datecheck, but the amount of time I was putting into it was not worth what I was getting out of it. p411 is clearly run by people who know what they are doing and value safety and accessibility rather than a lot of fluff.

They have new additions and travel/visiting section. You obviously know what I mean. Because you did mention it. I don't care nor remember EACTLY how it was worded but it was all on one site. You want to be their white knight then so be it, but everyone else seems to know what I was talking about.

Before there was a sliding bar of providers on the left, you'd click your choices onot the left to open a centered section of the provider's ad which included pictures, text, and contact information. The sliding bar on the left was not a good features because it'd cause me to lose my place whenever I opened an ad, but then needed to return back to my place in the sliding list. Sometimes the order would get moved around and the next provider down would be now on top of the provider's ad I opened on the list. That was the problem the old way, but you kinda dealt with it because it clearly listed providers that were featured, new, and in certain areas.
A better menu instead of the sliding bar is all that was needed instead of a whole site revamp. I like Eros for their menu options, but they also could use some improvement when it comes to mixing up the list when I get ready to hit the back button to continue searching if I needed to.
Just get a better menu format with a way to add to the menu as providers come on and off the list without humbling the order of the search. That's it IMHO.
RS2K is a joke and so are the clowns that operate it.
We tried advertising on their site and we were never even able to get the idiots to reply to our emails..we can spend our advertising dollars elsewhere.
I would never trust an outfit with important info that was so sloppy....

Why would anyone trust you with their personal information. It is obvious you have a temper problem and are unstable.
RS-AVS needs some advanced search tools. I think that I mentioned this in another thread awhile back. With the way their search engine is currently setup, you have to experiment with different keywords to find stuff. If you don't use the correct keywords, you can miss a lot of the providers within certain areas too.
They should also add a section for visiting/traveling providers, since they already have sections for weekly spotlight providers, top spot providers, and featured providers on the main page.
I seem to recall someone mentioning that Cathy reads the board, so hopefully she will take everyones comments into consideration.
...as I had plans to advertise with them. However, if you guys are the reason I'm there, & it's not user-friendly then I'd better not!

I am (was) a big fan of RS2K as well, and I completely agree with you. The new site design is absolutely horrendous. It's the worst site I have ever interacted with, in or outside of the hobby.
On a side note, wasn't TER advertising a new UI about 3 months ago? I remember a lot of banner ads suggesting the new TER was right around the corner, only to see them disappear. Personally I'm glad, the database is fine as is.
I have heard a few complaints but in my opinion the old site looked completely outdated and was not user-friendly at all. I think the new site looks a lot better but it is a little confusing.I see that you have to pick escorts by a very vast vague region and the visiting ladies are shown in whichever region you choose. I advertise on there end the website has always gotten me great clients....

I, for one, really don't mind the new layout, and let's face it, the old site looked like a GeoCities gem from the '90s. Is it different? Yes. Does it take a bit of getting used to? Of course. The new layout has not changed the frequency with which I check the site, and I've actually come to like it.
And, I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get into this fun game. RS2K has gotten me into many a door here in Chicago, and it seems as though the ladies advertising there trust it as well.
I was recommended to use it for my upcoming Chicago tour.
My gosh I found it hard to navigate. The advertising options and general layout have left me a bit frazzled and wondering if I really need to bother.
I really appreciate simplicity and functionality when it comes to sites
let's not go throwing them under the bus just because we're not a little tech savvy or their site needs a little twerking. Myself I use them because I can't join P411 or the other sites that were mentioned. You need to have a place of employment to be verified with them and I am retired and have been for quite some time.

I would check RS2K daily for as long as I can remember and now I don't even check it once a week. The new site is atrocious and makes no sense. For verification it's still great in Chicago but I'm doing my searches elsewhere.
Posting ads on RS isn't free for us and it is quite discouraging to see multiple threads of gentleman complaining and saying they don't view the ads as often because they aren't easy to navigate. Have any of you gents reached out to them and outlined your concerns?
I hope they fix it soon, I really like the site.

The new site is truly awful and worthless to look at. I barely check it anymore.
It used to be so easy to see who had new pix or specials or even areas of service.

Absolutely the worst example of Web design I have ever seen.
It used to be the primary site I would go to and now it is absolutely unusable. The owners were sold a bill of goods. A five year old designing her first site would do a better job.
Sigh. It used to be the single most valuable site for a Chicago Hobbyist.

It took me a while to get used to it, but searching the location at the bottom in the search box at the bottom helps a lot.
I just checked, I searched Rockford, Schaumburg, chicago, rosemont, Oak Brook, etc etc. and it pulls up a few providers listed in those areas. Less to thumb through if you're looking for specific towns.
