He started one of the shill threads, so should have received an explanation for the take-down. I don't think he included a link to the provider's TER profile in his post, so that may be why they removed it which would remove the rest of the thread as well. From the Message Board Policies page:
"FRIDAY SHILL DAY GUIDELINES
Friday Shill Day:
- Shills (not ad) from hobbyists, for their favorite provider of the week, are allowed on Fridays
- Only started by a hobbyist
- Must contain link to Provider's profile (this helps others find her); no pic
Exception: if a new provider, (no TER reviews), the hobbyist can shill provided he submits a review within 72 hrs (Violators of this policy will lose their message posting privileges)
- Posted no earlier than 1am (local time)
- Comments are allowed from all, but should not be negative, start a new discussion or be ads from/for a provider"
Thanks, just a clarification. I only post on a shill thread the week I have seen a provider who has shared a great experience with me. Did I just make that up somewhere along the line, or can anyone shill about anybody (with TER reviews) at any time?
... 'of the week' is supposed to mean that. Pretty ambiguous, if so. In any case, it's a reasonable practice, and one I also follow.

thanks for the 2 free days uptonogood. When the OP starts a thread and doesn't obey TER guidelines people can get free days by reporting the violation.

Personally, I don't give a shit whether or not these two gentlemen followed the guidelines to a T; I would never report a Friday Shill thread for these reasons. AFAIC we should have daily Shill Threads.
