Soaplands

As I recall, the soaplands are all on one street that's a good taxi ride from most tourist areas. The one that was recommended as being open to whites wasn't when I went there; I just walked from one to another until one accepted me.

Hi there,

White guy visiting Japan in September, and interested in the Soaplands experience. (Also open to other suggestions, like Hotel Health.

I've tried the TAG forums, but having trouble getting a recommendation.

Looking for a great Soaplands place that will cater to someone solely in English.

I'm very polite and friendly, and I don't mind paying a "gaijin tax", as I understand that it's not typical for them to have to deal with someone in a foreign language.

Can anyone recommend a place? I'm staying downtown, just East of the Imperial Palace, though willing to travel a bit (by taxi) for the right place.

Thanks in advance, and I welcome all suggestions! Really looking forward to seeing what Japan has to offer in the hobby.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll try Landmark first, and then see what happens.
