Where do I find this Dom massage lady????  LOL

There seems to be a lot of posts recently about LE concerns.   Its been mentioned several times that no encounter is 100% risk free as far as LE concerns.    I'd like to understand this better - specifically related to the risk associated with seeing one of the many reputable massage providers we have in mpls.   I understand that all which may occur behind closed doors, even with DIY provider,  may not be 100% within confines of law.    However, i don't understand how this could translate into any kind of bust.    I would think going to visit a reputable (preferably independent)  provider (one clearly 18+) and paying for massage service w/o mention of upgrades would be 100% safe.   Whatever happens behind closed doors happens however it may happen (DIY/HE/ etc.), and client leaves $100-$200 poorer but relaxed/happy.   what could go wrong in this situation, resulting in an unhappy ending with the boys/girls in blue down at the staion?

You mistakenly book with a Dom massage lady and she decides to pound you with a strap on & you call the police because you've just been ass raped..or maybe she gets so excited that she straddles you, has at it, taking advantage of the situation and someone hears it, calls the police because they think somethings wrong happening in there from all the noise she's making?
Or maybe LE has been watching the place for years and decides " This is the day!"although it doesn't usually go down like that statistically speaking because usually they like to bust a parlor in the early mornings and do things like take over the phone continue booking people without any questions and busting them for a few hours as the clients come in.
I think you're worrying too much.

When they bust a massage parlor everyone goes to jail.  I know of this happening in 3 instances in MPLS .  Usually they send in an undercover who gets illegal services then he gives the signal and the place is raided and everyone in the premises gets arrested. Doesnt make any difference what a customer is doing as long as he's on the premises LE assumes that he's there for the same illegal services.
Never heard of LE working a sting using a phony masseuse add though.  My bet is its harder to self incriminate when responding to a massage add since there are numerous legit massage therapists and locations.

Hilarious response Ms Dynamite!

Well ask a question like that, I can't help but put out all the impossible variables.
Independent massage ladies are low on the risk scale for stings as opposed to parlors where multiple people are involved in a possible human trafficking situation. In other words it's less fruitful for LE to go after an independent provider in a big city .
But if you find yourself on the wrong end of a strap on don't say I didn't warn you loljk !

will cause serious injury on insertion.
FYI: Strap-on backwards spells no-parts.

But don't ever think you are completely safe.  Even independents can get busted if someone notices and complains to LE and if you happen to be there at the wrong time ...

I think people over-generalize about how busts actually happen, and misunderstand why they happen.

So, you go see a solo massage provider who offers services out of her incall apartment, a hotel, or comes to you.  She is well-reviewed and a "known quantity."  What are the risks that a SWAT team will do a forced entry into the room and arrest everyone?  Extremely, extremely small.  Almost unimaginable.  You think about the risks, the liabilities, the burden of probable cause...  It's just not gonna happen.  When it comes to one-on-one meetings, the only way busts occur is that one or the other of the people in the room is LE.  Yes, there may be cases where a provider gets "turned" and agrees to a sting operation to avoid jail time for the weed they found in her purse.  But that is just so rare it hardly bares much concern.

At the other extreme, you think about the old parlor-style AMP shops that have a lot of rooms and a lot of traffic...  That's a whole different animal.  Remember, the biggest risk is when one of the two people in the room is LE.  Since you know you aren't and you know from reviews the provider isn't, well then you're good to go, right?  Well, in a salon setting, you have the added risk that even though neither of the people in your room is LE, there's no way to no if neither of the people next door isn't.  So your risk factor goes up.

Somewhere in the middle is the risk that LE might "flip" a provider, but those cases are rare.  Yeh, that Mankato thing may have been a true "flipping" sting, but those too are rare.  Sure, a provider gets busted for meth in her car, and offers to participate in a sting to reduce the charges...  But it's hard to imagine that most of the better known providers in the cities would go down that road.  Possible, but not likely.

So...  see reputable providers in a one-on-one setting and your risks become almost microscopic.

Also remember, that the rules of probable cause and evidence only apply if you are taken to court.  That is to say, the only incentive for LE to treat you constitutionally is to prevent evidence from being excluded at trial.  St. Paul police, for instance, don't have any intention of actually taking you to trial.  All they want to do is arrest you, get your picture on their notorious website as a "john" and publicize your name widely, then release you uncharged.  You can't fight them in a probable cause hearing because there won't be a probable cause hearing.  The point being, the risk of running into trouble in St. Paul is higher than the risk of trouble somewhere else, because the SPPD isn't even pretending to play by the rules.

The key is just to be aware of the real risks, not the imaginary ones.  Understand how busts happen, and what the underlying LE motivation is, and you're miles ahead.
