Indeed this is a very sad story.  Hopefully everyone will be careful both in and out of the business.

I have been tracking this story the last couple of days (I read every newspaper from the Washington Post to the Wall Street Journal everyday). I know this is a small community so when they said the young lady was an erotic dancer it sparked my interest.. I just want to say for someone so young to lose there life it's a shame. If you knew her my condolence is with you during this trying time. LOL

I didn't know Emily.  However, a provider friend of mine DID.  They were good friends.  Emily was murdered on 3/2 by an ex-boyfriend who my friend had also met (once).  She has been very bummed out about the whole mess since Friday when all this hit the media.  Even though this murder was about a domestic dispute (albeit with an "ex") and NOT business related (as far as we know), my friend has taken a series of "long looks" about her situation.  Unlike Emily, my friend does NOT show her face on her internet website.  That was apparently the "tip off" which let Emily's family know about her real occupation when the media "uncovered" it.  As of yesterday, they had still not found the body (the "ex" was not giving up the location).

My friend told me about all this on Saturday when we spoke.  I checked the news that night and it was "plastered over" all the DC and Baltimore TV stations.  I found it VERY creepy and disturbing to hear such a story on the news about someone who a friend of mine knew.  I just cannot IMAGINE how I would feel if I were "in my friend's shoes", muchless the family.  It is all a real damn shame.

Thanks Ponzone. I wish your friend the best during this trying time.
