I'm not sure exactly what you experienced or with whom. However, it sounds as if there was poor communication. Showers are yes typically part of your appointment. I don't know why any gal would complain that you were showering too long. However, if she felt you were "camping" or pushing for more time than what was paid for and agreed upon she may have been upset. It could have been dealt with more tactfully.
Clean bodies make for a better experience in my opinion, wash all those cracks and crevices extra well! Grace
Recently, I visited with a provider and asked to take a quick shower before to clean up before fun.
I thought I was quick, maybe five minutes, but when I got out the provider said that my shower too long and she was taking it out of my total time, which to be honest, I was okay with anyways. I didn't know what to say but it kinda soured the rest the date. Glad to be back in New England, where I'm on familiar ground.
So what are your thoughts? Length of shower? What's too long, or even too short?
You'd think she'd appreciate the fact you want to get clean for her. Does she pay the water and electric bill by any chance?
But as for length, 5 minute should just about be right, give or take a few.
And it is standard knowledge that the clocks ticks when you enter her space and ends when you leave.
Clocking ticking. Interesting point. As far as entering her "space." Some times I pick the lady up and drop her off after the fun. IMO the clock starts when we enter the room and ends when we leave the room. Am I right? Thoughts.
If the client is nice enough to pick a gal up from the airport or train station or whatever and drive her to and fro from your place, then that time is not on the clock.
The girl should have clarified the shower was off the clock. She was actually being nice to you but fucked up in her communication. 
I will shower 15 minutes just before before driving to the appointment. Very thorough...shampoo and all.
Upon arrival and a few minutes of kissing and/or groping will take another shower about 30 seconds...just to clean the vital areas. I take the towel with me to the bed to sit on...just in case the girl gets slurpy. 
Granted it doesn't exceed 10mins (really they almost never ever exceed 5 mins) I do not count it towards your time. What site did you find/choose this girl off of? Lol too short is if you don't properly hit all your most intimate parts at least once ... too long is well taking a shower a shower like you don't have anything else to do or kinda like one you'd take a home (which for most is much more than 10mins).
I would think the last message a provider would want to send is "keep the shower short". Everything twice, some areas three times for me. I assumed it was part of my session not pre-session. To me the session starts with the lovely kiss, Time 0.

To me, anything worth doing is worth doing well, and I don't see how a lady could be disgruntled that you took too long cleaning yourself off for her - unless you really did run yourself over time without stepping out of the tub. Still, if you're commandeering her space and time for *any* reason regardless of what you actually spend your time doing, then it is what it is. Her presentation of that point may have been rather poor, though.
Personally, I don't mind if you're in the shower for as long as you need! And, I'm generally in there with you
