the search function for length of visit. So you can plug in length of visit (30 minutes, all that jazz) then the amount low to high that you want to spend. Also the city and all that stuff.

Just go to reviews, search reviews at the top, then there are a bunch of things you can fill in. Don't forget to put in US and then Chicago.

Lots of people offer half hours, you may just have to search a bit to find one in the loop.

My schedule rarely lets me sneak away for extended periods of time during the weekday so I am interested in finding a provider or an agency that (1) has incall in or very close to the loop and (2) offers quick or half hour visits.  I am aware of a few up in the Gold Coast but seems by the time I get a cab, get there, find another cab afterwards, and get back to office, I am spending too much time away, so I really do mean the loop or very close. And I know of a few in the loop or river north but they are always 1 hour appts. Anyone know of any Indys or agencies that I should look at that are close and offer shorter appts? Thanks in advance.

And most will tell you the exact same thing I tell clients seeking half hour visits which is something like, "I completely understand that you're pressed for time. I'm happy to see you for a half hour. My rate is exactly the same as my hourly rate, $300/hour." The client typically responds insulted and dumbfounded that I'd charge him the same rate for an hour as I would for a half hour.  

For most providers, especially those who are in the city, a noon appointment is one of the most highly coveted spots. Half hour appointments are not profitable for me or most other providers. I'm still doing the exact same amount of work in preparation for the appointment, in regards to screening and during the visit for half or two thirds of the pay. And during prime time? No way.

I understand the reasons that cost could be the same (and I never said I was opposed to that) but I think being upfront about wanting a half hour only is a nice courtesy so that the provider can better plan her day rather than just leaving after a half hour. That also presents a counter argument why a half hour appointment shouldn't be the price of one hour; now the provider has more time for other customers. I do not think anyone would think the cost should be half, but I think people would be reasonable to assume that if one hour was 400, half may be something like 250-300, or if one hour is 300, half would be 200?  Anyways, I digressed. I am open to full hours price but I still am not sure who is in the LOOP as opposed to say Gold Coast or mag mile. Instead of wasting the time and money getting there I'd rather spend both on the provider :)

Yes lady, what you thought? He has the money (although he doesn't have much or just doesn't want to give it to you) and his time is MUCH more precious than yours is. Why would you think that a man asking for the provider to accommodate his VERY tight schedule within his VERY limited radius because he doesn't want to spend 5 minutes in a cab to get to gold coast... like come on girl, of COURSE providers are going to throw themselves at him for a 30 minute OR LESS session with him. lol

Ok sorry that I offended all the ladies here but I was simply seeking a specific need and if it doesn't exist then so be it. No need to respond by saying things like I think my time is more valuable than a providers, or I am cheap, or whatever. Sorry again. Although the comment about half ass and half head was funny :)

It's like when you go to the Secretary of State to get your license renewed. They figure you have to be here or otherwise you wouldn't. You are coming to them because you need something or otherwise you would not deal with them. So why be nice because each second they waste responding to your post is a second longer that they could have been making  $$$.  

Keep looking. I do think a touring provider may fulfill this request best. If not you may have to venture a few minutes further from your desired location and you'll be able to find your half hour gem.

... since I stopped doing them like almost 3 yrs ago.  
I saw no point entertaining dates that will run shorter than the time it takes me to get ready.  
But yes .... I've given a response similar to that they can stay for 1/2 hour but it'll still be 400.

There's nothing wrong with your request, despite the bashing going on. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find some nice, visiting S-worker who will be willing to meet up on your schedule. The worst she can do is decline. Good luck.

In my case...  lived in the loop and would be very glad to host a lovely half hour or hour at lunch appt?  

It is a bit hard making first appts for late evenings as a first time client. By no means is this a subtle disrespect towards the price of convenience. This gentleman posed a question which (with a bit of a twist), I've been very much hoping to ask.

Thank you! I actually felt this guy had a legit question. I've known some great providers who offered half hours. I think to search the prices you have to have VIP. It's night and day to have the options available to search.

As for perspective on life, a warped, but very blissful perspective. LOL
