There is no better place to live than New England!

Just a random post, to say Im so glad I moved back to New England. I've been so happy here, and now that we are in the middle of summer, It's just thriving with events, festivals, and there's always something fun to do. Nature is so amazing here. Hundred year old trees watching over historical homes, picket fences with flowers decorating on all sides. Lovely wildflowers, wonderful and so many national parks, historic estates, the arts... I am not working much these days, but I'm living life to the fullest. I just love the energy of being in such an energetic place. I hope you all are enjoying this amazing weather, not too hot and not too cold. Just perfect, with happy people, birds singing, puffy clouds, and even a storm coming in just when we need it. I don't even have to water my garden. Everything seems perfectly balanced. Enjoy your summer everyone and never take these blessings and bounties of nature and well being for granted.

After living in multiple regions, I'd have to say new England is my favorite.

One of the things I loved when I first moved to Maine was having four distinct seasons.

Had a very nice cucumber tomatoe, green pepper salad with blueberries and raspberries at dinner which all came from my garden. Can't beat the taste of food you grow 100 feet from the dinner table. I do wish summer and fall could go on for a couple extra months each year. August and Sept are always splendid.
