Proper research should have avoided the Rip Off artist in the first place.  That's why we have TER!
Carrying a firearm into a place expecting an illegal transaction to take place (prostitution is illegal in Texas, as in most of US).  Being busted on a Solicitation charge while carrying (without using the gun for anything) could add charges OR cost a CCP at the very least.
No, using a firearm, threat to use a firearm or physical force to retrieve a donation is assault or higher...  when she's guilty of petty theft.
Lastly, it would have been CHEAPER to let her walk with $150 than pay for your attorney fees just to get bailed out.  BTW, I expect he'll lose this case.

He already won.

I am not saying that I agree with the decision, but the facts are, he was acquitted.

I don't know all the facts in this case, nor do I care enough to do much research, but I certainly hope that the pimp was armed and gave the guy cause to fear for his life, and that he didn't just shoot an unarmed hooker for ripping him off.

No, he lost, not as badly as Frago, but he lost.  If any potential employer Googles his name, what do you think they will find?  How much do you suppose he legal fees were?  He should have let her keep the money and considered it a learning experience.

I think someone here should point out that the deceased, was in fact a thief
