To make sure that I am not walking into a sting operation I normally I see a known (the one I have seen before) or a well-reviewed provider in her in-call location, mostly it is in a hotel and sometimes it is in her apartment. If someone in the hotel or in her neighborhood has tipped off an LE or if an LE is monitoring the location, I am scared that he might come to her location knocking on the door and arrest her and me. I wonder if the LE has any right or base to arrest anyone since he has not seen or witnessed anyone exchanging money for sex. I am not sure if my understanding is correct. May be some more experienced and knowledgeable members on the board would like to share some thoughts on the subject. Thanks a lot for sharing.
If the ad has content that list services, then they can have probable cause to arrest you unless you state you wanted something legal. By you not stating what you want, you could be admitting it.
If you ask about condoms, sex acts, or use code words, they can arrest you. If you did not ask for these things but ask for something legal like massage, dinner date, or movies, then they would need solicitation to get you.

1.If you call the provider, you can tell them that you just interested in a massage only.  This will make it difficult to pin anything on you for just walking in.

2.If you scare, invite the provider on a dinner date. It will cost you more but at the end it can save you from getting sting.

3. You can say that you are interested in watching a movie together.

Say these things over the phone and if an undercover decoy is working at the other end, they will most likely deny you. It is possible that they still will invite you.

Never admit you coming for sex until you feel the situation right. If the provider is moving the conversation to get you to try to admit you coming for sex, you know something is wrong. .  Keep the conversation clean!! Just tell them that you are not interested in these things because you have erection problem. Tell them to stop talking about it because it hurt your feelings.

Very unlikely cop going to watch movies with you for 30 minutes but it could happen. They want you to say something in 5-10 minutes. Don't think that police is not creative in fooling you. They can roll out a joint, dress, and making a scene look real. If the scene look like the provider done too much work to entice you, then watch out.  The cops could come to arrest you and move you out of the room. They can tell you to leave the location. It is possible to make up false charges, but you can beat it.

if you think something is not right, then just ask to leave. You can offer to pay part of the fee.  That is not illegal. An undercover cop sometimes will say stuff like " Tell me what you want.  I cannot read your mind." A true provider will get down to business by taking off her clothes, touching you in the groin, etc. before asking you what you want.

If you are soo scare, then don't have sex the first time and hookup the second time for it.

The probability increases if you see low class providers on Backpage.com and other escort website for poor provider. Cops like to uses these resources to catch poor client and poor hookers because they want to get them for drugs, guns, pimping, and warrants.
Remember to use reviews and go to reputable provider.  If the website is cater to high class, your probability is better of getting away.

Don't talk about sex for money until you feel the context is right. Guys who get caught don't understand the art of beating the sting operation. Either they are novice or dumb.

You also should evaluate the risk. If you are single and have the money or your wife understand your hobby lifestyle, then taking the risk and practicing the art will work. If you are married and your wife don't approve of cheating, she could blow up for getting arrested even when you did not solicit. Your wife will not accept that you just want to watch a movie or massage with a provider. I suggest for married and wife don't approve to ask the provider to come to you. You might have to go through verification but it is safer and will cost you more money. The cheaper or more money you want to save in the hobby increases your risk of getting caught.

1.  All his evidence is "he said, she said"

2.  You don't let him in when he comes knocking

LE can not make an arrest unless they witness the crime taking place.  This is generally true for misdemeanors however, and in some areas such as Illinois, soliciting and other sex for hire related crimes are sometimes charged as felonies, and therefore you can be arrested, but I digress.

That however does not mean you can't get charged.  If LE has enough evidence to suggest probable cause, they can get a warrant from a magistrate and have you arrested.  I doubt very much that seeing you leave a building would constitute probable cause, but if, say, the gal got busted later and decided to offer her testimony against you, then that certainly would constitute the probable cause.

In any case, it's a lot of work for a measly prostitution bust, so don't lose any sleep over it.

What you should be careful of is LE who comes up to you and point blank asks you if you just saw a prostitute.  They often say stuff like:  If you cooperate, you'll be fine.  Don't fall for it  Just dummy up and say nothing except that you have nothing to say to them. (Never lie!)  They'll probably let you go once you make it clear you're not going to just  fall apart.  If you cooperate, getting a summons to court will likely be your reward for that.

(still not a lawyer)

LE cannot make a warrantless arrest for most misdemeanors, unless the crime occurs within their presence or within their view. They don't necessarily have to see it.

Each state spells out exceptions, most commonly domestic violence.

A few states like Arizona, if I remember correctly, do not follow this rule and permit warrantless misdemeanor arrests on probable cause. So you have to check your state. And if the crime is a felony I think all states permit warrantless arrests on probable cause.

If the lady flips and they get a warrant, as you point out, they certainly can arrest you. Remember the Grateful Dead-"i 'd like to get some sleep before I travel, but if you've got a warrant,  i guess you're going to  come in.
