A crazed drug fiend who could be packing, or a nice looking escort?

The pay's the same

I was buying gas and saw the headline on the newstand:
"City approves bodywork regulations, plans crackdown."

http://waltham.wickedlocal.com/article/20160525/NEWS/160527607

"Waltham police and city officials believe they finally have the tool to fight the spread of prostitution and sex trafficking under the guise of “bodywork” businesses.

The Waltham Board of Health recently passed a new set of regulations attempting to close the legal loophole that allows these businesses to offer illicit services. ...

Surrounding municipalities such as Newton, Watertown, Lexington, Arlington and Needham have all created bodywork ordinances, therefore pushing these businesses into Waltham. ... "

As noted in the article, the shops close up in one place and move to another. Does anybody ever think of regulating the business INTO legality and compliance with REASONABLE (since when is a 9 PM curfew a health issue?) health rules

Once again these cities are cracking down on the wrong issue, the

I agree. Unfortunately there are too many more important issues to crack down on. Its sad to see where the priorities are.

Safety first- the ladies (who advertise properly & pay their taxes like other businesses) and gents (who do their research on the legitimate ladies & abide by provider's screening procedures) should be able to have fun and play nice. Whether its bodywork or traditional providing, I believe law enforcement should mind their own unless necessary. There are a lot more variables with parlors than with independent masseuses like myself, and I get it. By all means, they should step in if there are issues with; forced human trafficking/abuse, drugs or anyone under age involved in any exchanges, but for the rest of us- live and let live!

I really enjoy what I do and find it sad when people feel they need to tip toe around irrational laws and the associated shame.

Since I am independent and not part of a group business/parlors, I take my screening very seriously. Not to weed out law enforcement, just to make sure I'm not inviting any felons, sex offenders or blacklisted clients into my space. So as long as a requested massage booking isn't dangerous in the above mentioned ways, were all good!

FYI I am very legal and professionally trained. I write about this in my blog post on my website. If any ladies want to know how to legitimize their business, I am more than happy to help!!! I believe in this issue.

*note- I have more educational hours than a registered massage therapist, but I choose to NOT register since they don't teach my aqueassage technique in massage school & they may frown on my attire ;)

Stay safe people!
