Hi can anyone provide me with any kind of legal advice of what I can do about a site that has stole an add of me and posting it on their site? I sent 2 emails asking them to remove my info because I never authorized them to post ads of me, nor am I a member of their site.

Here is the site/ad? Anyone else have a problem with them??

There seem to be a lot of websites that just aggregate escort ads.  If you google a phone number from a backpage ad, you'll find multiple versions of the same ad on other sites.  I think this is just done to generate web ad revenue (by getting people to go to the sites from searches).

Where was your original ad?

I really appreciate the info and advice.  The ad has been removed and I have had communication with the owner of he site.

Thank the both of you.

Hi,

I recently googled my email address and found a lot of postings on other sites that I never gave permission to. I also had never heard of them.  One of them was the Tommy.  I am glad you were able to get this resolved, it gives me hope.  I will keep after him until I get this rectified.

Thank you for sharing this information.
