On those same lines.  Seems like most ads these days include guys with about three days of face stubble.  I know it's the current style, but, ladies, doesn't that get pretty uncomfortable on the thighs and the naughty bits?  Having done both the stubble and the beard thing I would think a beard can be a much softer feel.

I've always been clean shaven in the hobby until I recently re-grew a beard I had for much of my life. Had the same questions you do, so asked several of my favorites how they would feel about it. I was sternly warned against using the beard as a "flavor saver," ew, and also warned against the two-day-stubble look that can irritate lady bits, but otherwise the concensus was "Bring it."

In the event it has been well received, though I don't like to speculate how much of that is because it covers up part of my face. I keep it between 3/8 an 1/2 inch long, use it strategically on necks, nipples, inner thighs, and other sensitive spots, and have had no complaints. It does NOT seem to have made anyone reluctant about kissing, though a couple have said it tickles.

So I'd say go for it.
