I met an SB recently and got a feeling from her that she was seeing a lot of guys.  My question is, if a girl only advertises on SB sites, but functions as a typical prostitute, with incall locations ect, is she safe from the law? For example, if she's dumb enough to use the same hotel and gets reported by management to LE, could LE sting her and bust her even though all her guys are technically SDs?

Within the framework of  the unusual conditions above: yes, you'd get busted.  But a typical SB isn't going to book a room, then invite you over.   An SD pays for everything, including a hotel room.

A lot of providers cross over to Sugarland.  But it would be a bright red flag if my SB invited me to her hotel room.  At that point, my trick knee would twitch & I'd decline.  You need to trust your instincts, whether your in P411land or Sugarland.   --z

I remembered reading this post about SBs and why it's legal.

the sugar daddy pays a set fee, usually monthly, for a loosely defined amount of time with a gal for companionship in all its infinite forms (but mostly sex, natch.)

This can vary from a few thousand a month for a day a month, to tens of thousands for nearly full time partnership.

These can last for a few months or years, depending on how they feel towards one another.

"Escort services and prostitution are not protected under intimate relationship because prostitutes and escort does not have full discretion who is their client. (See IDK vs. County of Clark 836 F.2d 1185) This court case open escorts, prostitutes, and their clients to police sting operations. Sugar relationships, on the other hand, can claim protection under the 14th amendment because sugar babies have full discretion who are their sugar daddies.   Sugar relationship is NOT prostitution but dating because there is no public business offering.  It is very close to dating except there is more honesty with gifts and monetary payment. Some sugar babies ended up to marry their sugar daddy. So sugar relationships are not anti-thesis to a committed or martial relationship.  If you got caught in a police sting operation because you use a sugar dating website and you did not solicit for payment for sexual services, you should find a lawyer and sue the police officer for violating your rights to intimate relationship. You may have a chance to have your case heard by the US Supreme Court and get a monetary judgment against the police officer and the department."

My question is, if girls who realize this is the law and keep their advertising limited to sugar baby sites, but nevertheless see lots of guys, just like any escort or prostitute would, is she safe from the law? If she is, then shouldn't there be a mass movement to using the sugar baby business model to protect ourselves from LE.

It might give you a better feel for his legal credibility.

Sugar dating involves dinner, shopping, and other activities other than sex session. This is the reason why is legal. Sugar relationship is not a business because sugar babies don't serve the public.
With escort service, it is a business so the government could come in and shut it down. Also if escorts and hobbyist show up to sex session then it becomes a crime.

It is not a crime to give gifts, not make an agreement for sex for money, and have sex latter.
It will require solicitation to bust a sugar daddy or sugar baby.  Escorts is a better deal than sugar babies because it require allot of money to maintain a sugar baby. Sometimes a sugar baby will call to ask for money. With an escort you can better budget yourself. Sugar babies is just another name for mistress. This stuff is very old but it has a new name and a new twist.

There is a court decision that deals with this issue.

UNITED STATES of America, Plaintiff-Appellee, v.
Lynnette HARRIS and Leigh Ann Conley, Defendants-Appellants. 942 F.2d 1125

for an hour or two of sex where $$$ are exchanged each trip then I doubt either is immune from the law. It basically becomes exchanging $$$ for sex. More so, if multiple sugar daddies are visiting said sugar baby around the same time.

It basically becomes the equivalent of maintaining a house of prostitution or a brothel which is illegal in every state except for one or two counties in Vegas.

The either that sugar daddies and sugar babies maintain exclusive relationships is a myth, many retain side relationships.

What separates an SB / SD relationship from prostitution and harder to prosecute is that typically such arrangements require a fixed amount to be paid at regular intervals and dates involve more than sex.  Dates may involve dinner, events, trips, gifts and such. You might have a date for strictly sex every so often but not all the time.

I would still follow the typical rules of the hobby with a SB / SD relationship i.e. hobby phone, private email and provide as little personal info as necessary. Many are known to go cuckoo at the point you want to dump them or at the point they want more $$$ and you say no deal. You don't want them coming to your work, house and causing problems.

It can be even more risky from a non LE point of view.
