We've a slew of events to celebrate!

July 21st is SexWorker Appreciation Day, and we are hosting a full-day spa event, social and discussion roundtable for our local providers... as well as a handful of other events for allies and the general public - including you! This is an opportunity for you to share your love by helping sponsor the events!

Please help SWOP-Seattle keep our budget expenses focused on educational and street outreach materials, and step up to show some love for our local community! Sponsorship donations can be given to your favorite provider active in SWOP-Seattle, or you can email [email protected]

Sex Worker Appreciation Day Comedy and Variety Show
Sunday July 19th - 6pm doors, 8pm show!
Join us for a raucous evening of entertainment featuring live stand up, burlesque, theater and more!
$15 suggested donation to SWOP-Seattle.

Networking meet for allied orgs and helping professionals
Monday July 20th - 1pm-3pm
How can SWOP-Seattle volunteers assist in your efforts? How can you better serve sexworkers? Let's meet and greet, build some bridges, and make plans to work together to serve marginalized and vulnerable populations.

SexWorker Roundtables and Spa Day
Tuesday July 21st, 10am-4pm - SexWorker Roundtables and Spa Day

Panel Discussion: SexWorkers in Society
The Unsung Wisdom & Societal Contributions of Erotic Services Providers
Monday July 20th, 7-9pm
Calamus Auditorium at Gay City
People with direct experience in the adult industry share perspectives on what sexworkers bring to the world, both for clients and society at large.

 

SEPIA - RECURRING EVENTS
SWOP-Seattle works on community building via our sister organization, SEPIA, which is open to current and retired sex workers.

SEPIA Brunch
1st Wednesdays, 11:30-1:30pm
Once a month, current and retired sex workers get together for a casual brunch.

SEPIA Friends & Family Social
3rd Sundays, 7pm
Sex work can be a very isolating occupation, not only for the worker but for their families and domestic partners as well. This social event is open to members of SEPIA and their dear ones who love and support us.

SWOP-Seattle Council Meeting
4th Sundays, 11-1:30pm
The SWOP-Seattle Council is currently composed of current and retired sex workers who are members also of SEPIA. The Council is the organizational group that steers SWOP-Seattle, and our monthly meetings consist of a rolling agenda, with unique items added as necessary. Anyone who is a member of SEPIA may attend the council meetings.

SEPIA Board - A forum for our community
Conversations about local politics and shop-talk are happening on the SEPIA Board. Sign up, log in, and contribute to the dialogs! This is a great place to stay up-to-date on local issues. Available for SEPIA members only
