I will pm you after I've had a smidge of caffeine.

where is the best place to stay in terms of easy parking and easy access? Also I know Boston is very walkable so I was wondering what places are a must see for a girl who's planning to make a stop in Boston.

You can pahk ya cah in the hahvid yahd.

i would suggest staying in burbs, off 128

Waltham has safe, provider friendly hotels for example

Waltham also has at least one hotel that is provider unfriendly with a shady reputation...so choose wisely..

That's not too far from Waltham or downtown right?

I don't have a lot of experience in Newton, but I think of Newton as having some hotels close to public transit and some hotels where you might as well drive downtown rather than drive to and park at the closest public transit. Some guys prefer to drive to Newton and park at the hotel, so the difference ti them is moot. Some TOURISTS would prefer to take the T than fight traffic and look for parking downtown. (Same Q as below: Do any of the Newton hotels run shuttle buses to downtown Boston?)

Glossary for out of towners:
T : short for MBTA, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Boston's equivalent of NYC's MTA. Some people reserve "T" to refer to the subways only (entrances marked with a big T) but some people use "T" to mean any of the public conveyances

to remind people about being so specific here. PM is how people shoukd respond to your requests. Yea, it's just the name if a town, but . . the walls have ears

Have fun. PLAY SAFE! Repeat

I don't know the answer to this: Do any of the suburban hotels still run free shuttle buses to downtown Boston and the airport? That would make a suburban stay a little easier for someone wanting to spend time downtown.

Assuming you'll rule out the 'burbs for now, Back Bay (big yellow area on the map) is one of the most popular and convenient places to stay. Lots of hotels, lots of tourist attractions, convenient to MORE tourist attractions, lots of public transit, lots of parking garages (but not cheap). Copley (or Copley Square) is a smaller area inside the Back Bay area and is prime.

Others can comment on the other "named" neighborhoods that are convenient or to be avoided completely.

Must you travel by car (lots of stuff; other business or site seeing). Amtrak from Penn Station to Back Bay Station is super convenient. You can walk to a few hotels from Back Bay Station faster and easier than taking a cab ... if you're not traveling with more than two suitcases

If planning a visit, you'll have more than just competition between the sheets. You'll have competition FINDING sheets! (I think Metro Boston has around 25,000 hotel rooms.)

There are over 100 colleges and universities in Metro Boston and they all want the parents to come for the graduation ceremonies spread over May-June.

Ask locals about sporting events schedules (Boston is a BIG sports town).

Also check the MCCA Events Calendar for both hotel squeezes and potential horny conventioneers. They even have an event planning guide for you.

Look what's coming up next week: 2016 New England Cannabis Convention Sat. April 23 - Sunday April 24, 5000 attendees, Hynes Convention Center.

NCTA 2016 INTX: The Internet & Television Expo in May with 17,500 attendees. And others.

They also tend to be bargains for price.

You can also easily take public transportation from the airport to downtown if you want to do any sightseeing
