Spit your time

I live in the city (and don't have a car) and wouldn't even consider going to the suburbs, so you would miss everyone like me.  I think splitting your time is the best way to go.  Additionally there are visiting businessmen downtown who are not going to go out to the suburbs at night.

I guess this is a follow up to my previous one.  Now that's I've identified the best places to stay (areas and hotels) so, thank you very much Guests and Providers alike, I've gotten some feedback that I might want to split my time between downtown and the suburbs/airport on a split week.  Is that really the best way to accommodate guests, or should I stay in one place?

My concerns are obviously,  whom will I miss by not splitting, or if I do split will I also miss a greater number?

I've never split my locales before, so I have no experience to pull from.  Any feedback would be great!

Thanks!

but most burbs guys will avoid you because of traffic, travel time being pretty extreme and the huge parking costs(everything is pretty much Valet in Chicago or expensive parking garage).  As well if you goto the burbs like Oakbrook, you will get burb guys but city guys will avoid you because well most city guys just want their caviar brought to them.  So yeah splitting your time is how you make best effective use of your time and don't miss one group over the other.

Even a train stop across the street will not bring in 1 or the other....  Just what I have heard anyway, I don't go city.  Also while Ohare is nice pick a hotel that doesn't charge for parking, I know alot of guys dislike that ir they will try to charge it to your room.

I have never had an incall in downtown or Magnificent Mile. I heard traveling ladies complaining these days about staying there, so I have never even tried. In my opinion, O'Hare has many decent hotels with better rates, free parking, and a free shuttle to the airport.  Shaumburg is also good because it's close to highways. These two areas I used to choose when I had an incall.

Some ladies from up North say it's not busy there.

I think this trip I'm going to stay by O'hare for the week, and on my next trip split between Central Loop and Schaumburg.  I've done full weeks in Downtown Central Loop before and they've been good, but there were some lulls I feel would be better spent in a suburban area. :)

Speaking as a city guy (north side) I usually prefer to see providers in the burbs.  It is just as easy to go downtown or the mag mile but the parking is always the main concern, that and being from the city more of chance running into an acquaintance then having to come up with a back story.  That being said if a provider is well reviewed I will go where I need to to see them.

This is based on my own experience, others may not agree.  OK, being that this is TER, others will DEFINITELY not agree.  But anyway...besides being a bother and expensive, in many garages and some street parking, the only way to pay is by credit/debit card. This leaves a paper trail and can be an issue for us guys.   I parked at a hotel in Rosement once, the only way to get my car out was with a CC; cash wasn't an option and they didn't validate.  So, sure enough, on my CC bill next month was a charge for "XXXXX Hotel, Rosemont, IL".   Lucky I handle the bills, but hell......

The guest can get a complimentary parking pass from the hotel. She can take a pic on her phone and send it to you. Scan it on the way in and the way out and parking is free.

It's getting nice enough to park at the Blue Line stop for $5 and you can pay cash at the machine. There are a few nice places to stay near there.

Park further away from DT and take a Divy Bike or CTA. Parking will definitely be an issue this summer. All the construction going on right now causes a lot of delays.

Did not know that . Thanks

Living in the western suburbs , usually its a 4 hour journey back and forth to downtown . I have taken a pass on some providers for that reason . Downtown and O'Hare also you pay between 20-30 dollars that I would rather add to the tip to my provider . My suggestion would be Oakbrook or Schaumburg .

...if you'd like to visit the city. If you've never been here they're a lot of things to see. I myself prefer downtown. I always thought it funny that a guy would pay $300-$500 to see a girl and then complain about $20-$30 for parking. I'd drive to the airport even though I live on the lakefront, but not Schaumburg.
