I am a plus sized guy and posed this question to a provider who I had seen multiple times. She said that she really prefers bigger guys. Here are some of the reasons she gave:
- they are more humble and appreciative, easier to please
- they don't make you do 10 different athletic positions
- they listen when you talk to them
- they are more likely to repeat (she was great at making me feel comfortable)
- they understand what the word "No" means the first time
- they cum faster and don't expect 3 shots in a 30 minute quickie
Of course, she might have been BSing me but I think she was being honest. She said she did have some very nice attractive clients who she liked the sex with, but being treated respectfully meant far more than six pack abs attached to a bad attitude. Sadly she moved on but most of the other girls I've seen seem to feel the same. So go ahead and burst my bubble if you need to, but I feel like girls in the hobby can be the most honest women I know
Once I've adequately screened a new friend to help ensure we'll have a safe time together and our personalities and desires are compatible, when we meet, his body size wouldn't deter me from having a wonderful time. I've never had the experience of being repulsed by a visiting friend's physicality. I've seen clients that embody a broad spectrum of body sizes as well as races and age. I'm an equal opportunity lover. And, I'm proud to be curvy myself, hence I'm no skinny minny.
My desire for someone is more affected by how I am regarded and spoken to. Intellectual intimacy, intentional communication, and respect are pivotal. When someone comes correct from initial contact, that's what entices me and gets me wet before we meet. And that is only heightened once we're in each other's arms! 
I like all types of guys, big or small, young or old, small personality or big personality... I think arrousal occurs at different levels and I appreciate every experience. Of course I have my limitations, but it is mostly about personality for me. I like to satisfy those who are nice, respectful, and easy going. I am sure my friends can attest to this. In my opinion, if you are a rude or persistent person, I will not be turned on. In my private life, I have dated men of all kind. My view on it is that even if the food looks yummy it won't always taste yummy.
There is really a lot of intrinsic value to the "teddy bear" type of man.
In my time in and out of the demimonde, I've found that most of my best sessions are either with older gents, or heavier gents, or both. It has always just seemed more relaxed, more casual, much more likely to cut up and joke around... and all and all just more comfortable.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with a good roll in the hay with a hunk-- but I always feel more at ease with my teddy bear types.

if providers didn't take big ones, they would probably starve.

I'm curious how providers feel about being with a big guy. I know it's buisness, and I may be a sucker, but I do like the people I'm playing with to have fun as well. Also would be good to ask if the lady is cool with a big guy?
Thanks for the responses so far. Doing what I do for a living, kinda obvious, I'm always worried about others enjoyment. As well as thier comfort. It's the curse of my industry. Lol
Who doesn't like big all around!!!
In fact, I have experienced great amount of chemistry, connection on every level with intelligent lay-back bigger gentlemen. I'm tall (5.9 without heels) and if the man is a little shorter than me, it's always great if he is compensating with a bigger body. It makes me feel more feminine and comfortable.
