I realize that I could potentially see her for longer session, but I do prefer to meet her on more days...

For me, once a month with a 90 min to 2 hour visit is enough ( and about all I can afford) so as to your easier question, I prefer an ATF over taking a shot on the unknow

IMHO, There's nothing wrong, actually everything is right, with this pattern of making new friends and developing ATF relationships. There's one particular lady I've been seeing fairly regularly that I just cannot get enough of.
Create and enjoy that which works best for you. Respect your lady and let the chops fall where they may. Opinions are great, but don't let them dissuade you from your preferences. They're good to learn from and you may even glee some hobbying patterns.
