As much as I would like to believe all the nice things the ladies tell me in person or via pm or email, there is always that lingering question about sincerity. I agree that it is obvious that Shannon is very sincere in her post. That is so appealing to me in a woman. I also know that it is probably a part of my ego that just wants to be stroked. Like most of us I want to feel liked and desired. Sometimes I ache for the feeling that someone really wants to know the real me.

I have on occasion allowed myself to believe that someone actually meant it when they said they really enjoyed being with me and wanted to spend more time with me or that they think of me when they want to be held or other endearing comments. Unfortunately, it has all too often either been a desire for more frequent sessions or someone who is really afraid of intimacy on a personal level and when I open the door they withdraw to safer waters. I understand that is all part of this lifestyle we chose.

I am sure that the ladies hear all kinds of compliments from guys and it is hard for them, I would imagine, to tell the sincere from the one's just trying to get freebies or extended sessions for the same price.

I think the key is to remember what this is, a business transaction. For one hour or whatever time frame is contracted for, we are given the opportunity to connect how we chose. Sometimes some of us just want to talk, some just want sex and leave, some want to be held and made to feel important, some want a balls to the walls sex-fest with all the kinks and some just want intimacy in whatever form that takes shape during that hour. The great thing about this hobby is that once we are around for a bit we can find the kind of ladies that fit our needs and desires for that day.

Let's not stop telling each other all those nice things. Let's allow our egos to be stroked and feel we really do matter to the one we are with. Then when the clock is up, return to reality with no expectations. Enjoy the fantasy.
