Google removals

Until the content is actually removed from the source website OR until the site page is marked with a no robots "tag", the content will be cataloged and displayed in Google search.
Removal of the content from a site that you do not control is problematic. You need to convince them to remove or compel them to remove the information.

I have found that even weeks/months after a successful purge of the cached pages that the content mysteriously reappears from time to time.

In fact, one page that I have repeated removal requests for several times still appears with search terms that no longer appear anywhere in the HTML of the page.

I submitted over 5000 individual removal requests for various pages with misleading information. The total number of pages dropped slowly during the month then more rapidly as the pages were no longer available. 1.5 years!!! later all except one page is gone.

Sometimes a court order is the only way to get this stuff to go away.
Don't overlook the web time machine wayback whatever it's called and also check Bing/Yahoo and Ask.com
Good Luck

I would like to serve Google a subpoena and want to know if I have to hire a law firm/lawyer to do so.

Here is some information I gathered online.

Can anyone tell me if I HAVE to have a lawyer for any of these actions:

I had a very detailed discussion with the Santa Clara clerk of court. He told me that he would domesticize interstate subpoenas, even with Doe defendants under the new California rule issued in January 2010, as follows:

http://law.onecle.com/california/civil-procedure/2029.300.html

California Subpoena Court Fee $30.00
Include a self-stamped addressed envelope to your process server (I can recommend one for you to Google – they charge about $75)
Include a self-stamped addressed envelope to yourself for filed stamped copies to be returned by the court
Include an original copy of your local subpoena and 2 copies
Complete and include Form SUBP030 “Application for Discovery Subpoena in Action Pending Outside California”
Complete and include SUBP-035* Subpoena for Production of Business Records in Action Pending Outside California
Find forms here: http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms/ (Choose subpoenas)

Appreciate all your help as always.

I guess it depends what
you want google to do?
Or what you want done.

Here is a link to remove
content from Google, I've
never used it so I have no
experience with it....

Here is a link for tips on
writing a DCMA complaint

experience with it...
