Now's the time to get VIP if you don't already have it. Check the Mn top 100 and start doing your research on the ones who interest you. By reading their ads, profiles and websites you should be able to figure what info they need to screen you. When you find someone who sounds like a good fit work with her to get yourself screened and have fun.
It would also serve you well to join P411, once you get a few OKs from well established ladies things get a whole lot easier.

Can anyone provide recommendations for newbie friendly providers.  I've lurked a long time but ready for my first experience.  Thanks.

With P411 you can easily see which providers are newbie friendly.

You say you have been lurking for awhile ... That's good.  If you haven't yet please visit the newbie board and read all you can ... It will help things go more smoothly with the first few appointments. Good luck!

ladies to see what their requirements for a newbie would be. Ask if they will be willing to work with you. Do not get a P411 membership immediately. It will be useless and a waste of money until you have at least two okays. After that you can get a free six month trial with them before having to pay if you have two references.

There are not many newbie friendly providers on P411 right now and you might have to jump through hoops to see them as well. Giving out your last name or employment information to any provider is not something I recommend.

Read the last two pages of this board, there are at least three other threads discussing newbies and screening. If you are a lurker, you had to have seen and read these. Go back and read them again, there is plenty of helpful information and advice on how newbies can get screened

It's not as hard as others claim.  411 is a good start and best advice is to go with a provider who is popular and been around awhile with good reviews so it is easier to trust her with employment info and such.  I'd give you a few names of great providers but it seems lots of fellows on the board get all freaked out when I do so feel free to pm me.
