Verification question

i was recently asked to provide my full name, age, and occupation as part on a verification process. I offered three recent and reputable references in the alternative. I appreciate the need for everyone to be safe, but wonder how normal this request is. I'm not a full member any longer so please post a public reply.

Thanks!!

If three recent, reputable references are not sufficient then I would find someone else. Her request is not normal.

If you give your last name, age and occupation; she can filter your profile out on LinkedIn, Facebook or all the public information websites and find out everything she wants about you. No provider is worth losing sleep over when a problem occurs and problems do happen.

Without having to give up your nuts to do it.

Again, you will get responses from hobbyists who would give you their point of view based on what they would or would not do. Also hobbyists are not going to give you specifics of what they did the first time they got verified. Because they are afraid of being chastised on a board. So they will pound their chests and pretend they didnt go through a thorough screening to save face amongst their bros.

Since they do not take clients themselves they cannot tell you if this is a normal request or not.

They will posts links to busts that take place all over the nation to alarm you.
They will show you worst case scenario, which is something you should be aware of.
But in most instances it was of trafficking situations, underage girls, set ups for johns and most recently a provider in WI who lacked some serious common sense.
Plus, There are those handful of shiny examples where well known providers were busted but its because that 1 in a million chance  that the provider was careless.

But statistically speaking, the amount of busts in comparison to the amount of times everyone participates bust free because of proper screening and the implementing of verification protocols, pales in comparison.

Ive posted a response to a similar question about this and have added the link.

All providers have different screening requirements.
Asking for your full name, work info and age is in fact quite common.

There are some providers who do not accept references so they ask for that info.
There are some providers who accept references and do not  ask for the other info .
AND there are some providers who ask for the whole kit and kaboodle.

Provider References, Work info , asking for a pic of your ID , full name, a form of picture ID, social networking sites such as Facebook, Linked or Twitter..
These are all common.

There are well over 100,000 providers in the United States, who service millions of clients yearly who have operated their business without getting busted.

Do your research..

I do not really care how many providers are operating w/o being caught, I only that they aren't going to catch me.  Search "Beaver damn prostitution" .  LE got a hold of her client list with real names.

Give up work and Social Media Info and common.. LOL!

All anyone has to do is look up 'DC Madam" to find out just how foolish and ridiculous the notion of giving this level of personal detail is.  There is a reason we're called 'Johns', and it's not because we're forthcoming with our information.

If a lady wants this level of detail and you're willing to provide it.. Well I'll call you a fool, but, it's up to you.  For me there are 2 billion fields to plow and I could care less one honey pot to the next.. There is no shortage of poontang in this city and certainly no reason to go to this level just to get laid.

I want to know how I can like this more than once, damn you TER.

Agree with you Cat. I have been in for a long time.
Jerks get outed.
Dopes get busted.
Assets get protected

There are plenty of providers who don't require this kind of personal information in their screening.

Also, disclosing this kind of personal information may not cause a problem most of the time but the consequences when things do go sideways can be very bad.

As far as what any one of us may have done in the past, I will say that early on I did some things and revealed some info that I would not do again.  No, nothing bad ever happened to me but reading accounts of what has happened to other people was enough to convince me that I needed to learn from other people's experiences.

Your references may be recent and reputable but looking at your review list doesn't back that up completely. It may be possible that the references don't meet her requirement.

We all need to feel comfortable in the screening process and if that means you don't give her your personal info then ask her if any thing else will work. Maybe you could see a couple of providers she would consider up to her standards, may be a screening site such as P411 would work, maybe she requires personal info no matter what. Only you can decide what is right for you.

You do what you have to, to feel comfortable with the process..
But your question was if it was common or not, and it is.

I work and have worked as a PA, Scheduler, Screener for Providers for over 5 years and have worked with 1000's of clients.
And a provider with a good head on her shoulders will know what precautions to take to keep her and your information safe.

But before you go taking advice from the alarmist trolls in this thread,, look at their review history of the providers they see..
We are talking about a couple of guys who treat backpage like its a $5.99 all you can eat buffet
They act they are like high end restaurant critics, yet constantly eat at the greasy dive diners and then complain when the food isnt up to their delicate palates.

You want to partake of a fine dining experience, then there are hoops you have to jump through to get a seat at the best tables. And you will find that 9 times out of 10 that it was absolutely worth it :)

What can I say Im a big girl and love to equate sex to food.

Not a very good analogy... BP would be more like Dim Sum an endless supply of delights all ala carte.  There is no way to equate price or hoops with level of service or a "fine dining experience" as you call it.  I've had $80 BP girls fuck me like it was the last dick they'd ever get and $400 women lie there like dead fish.  I've been with women from agencies, porn stars as well as plenty of indys.  The most they will EVER get is a 411 request.  If that isn't sufficient in and of itself, see ya!

Now to further your dining analogy.. I would take the reliable mid price Thai that rotates their monthly specials for quality, reliability and ease of access to ANY of higher priced joints requiring reservations and jumping through hoops just to get a taste of their believed golden meat flaps.

You make a point you've done this with THOUSANDS of clients.. This really doesn't say much.  We live in a city where THOUSANDS of guys will pay $200 just to jack themselves off in front of a chick. So you're fortunate to have a market of pansies.

I accept p411- Date-Check - RS2K- whitelistings

Also references with their info such as Ter ID, email and website.

My appointment RSVP does ask for full name and employment, but that's just for the newbie guys who don't have anything else to help me verify him. (As just mentioned) It's not MANDATORY, but screening is!

I've been doing this for 8 plus years and have never had an issue and have always been discreet.

Be well, and stay safe,

Gabby XOX

Thanks for all the input. I decided to pass on that girl and opted for a different girl. I have seen many more providers than I have reviewed on here, some experiences are so great, that I don't feel the need to share the special details about the encounter with a well reviewed lady. Cat, thank you for your insight. It was appreciated.

Stay safe

& bitching and moaning about me not accepting a white list as verification or not being ok with old references. Ridiculous. I can't be a Mother when I'm in a ditch on the side of the road because Johndoe124 from the board that had whitelists & refs killed me. Dead people can't spend money can they? Not worth it.

It's also true that a guy can't be a good provider for his children when he loses his job and marriage because he was outed when a provider who kept his personal information gets busted.

I want to like the below a gazilion times.

You guys beat the dead horse about providers getting busted and your privacy. The incident that happened in Beaver Dam has been in the works for 2 years. She was already warned by their PD to stop and had her money seized a first time before that arrest. She also required only selfies of guys as screening. That doesn't sound very logical or intelligent to me, but maybe I'm operating on a different thought pattern. The guys that they got also sang like Canaries like her as soon as they were questions.  I've also noticed the guys that refuse to screen are the disrespectful ones that don't consider us human, they degrade us on boards like this and call us ugly names. I'm a human being that deserves respect and I do need to know WHO I'm sharing an intimate moment with because of the nature of that beast. Clients and providers are human beings that deserve mutual respect. I can also list a few things that I got while visiting. 1. Board guys that used references from reputable providers but didn't want to give me any info, none of them turned out to be good appointments. 2. Guys trying to use year old references and white listing to bypass screening. 3. God only knows who trying to be screened using fake employment information. 4. Some really great guys that I was able to form a mutually respectful connection with enough to have an appointment.  By the way even though I said fuck Minnesota I did have some wonderful guys visit me, I'll treasure our time together :)

What makes a "good appointment" from your viewpoint, and how many of these are you basing your conclusion on?

"1. Board guys that used references from reputable providers but didn't want to give me any info, none of them turned out to be good appointments."

Numerous..  I tried to accommodate them and give wiggle room because they had good references and they acted crazy. The guys I got refs for did the following not in any particular order... didn't show up after getting my location, try to negotiate unsafe services I don't do, NCNS after the confirmation call and call back days later trying to reschedule, ask for explicit details and about monetary compensation.  Minneapolis was recommended to me by a very close provider girlfriend that has reviews but isn't active on boards, the same things also happened to her and we were in MN around the same time. A good appointment to me isn't even one that is necessarily "easy" to screen. Someone that I can form a mutually respectful connection with on first contact.  Doesn't need to be perfect because screening is subjective and can be done so many ways and all guys don't have all the info I need right away. Just be honest because once you lie were done. When your appointment is over you'll have another friend in this big wild world, a reference if you need one, and a beautiful memory of time spent together. As for the reference to the female serial killer that killed johns..She was a SW and mentally unstable to begin with. I've had girlfriends murdered by clients this year and it's ridiculous and painful for everyone involved. One of my friends was killed by a client and he set her body on fire after :( another one was killed in a similar way..The guy killed her and burned her body for 7 days in a firepit. So if someone doesn't care about me enough as a person first, and they see us as nothing of a piece of meat I have no doubt they wouldn't do the same to me. Not worth my life.

Sorry, about your friend and I'm not trying to be mean, but WTF you still in this business, when your friends are dying left and right???

You mean like the john they made the movie Monster about?

Oh wait... That wasn't a john it was a prostitute

I have no problem explaining why some behaviors like not screening are ridiculous in a clear and concise manner as I did above. I also have no problem telling board bullies and trolls about themselves when other are too afraid of "ruining their reputations" to say anything. I have enough of a backbone to say what I need to say and not give one single fuck. The people that get angry and argue with me are the same people that have no lives, no happiness, & nothing good going for them. I also find it funny that one of the posters above from St. Cloud that is talking about not giving screening info actually had an appointment with me a few months ago in a neighboring state and didn't give me any issues, in fact I remember him eating me for an hour :). Ironic. Have a nice day!

Oh I stand corrected.. Guess there was some more...

Waa Waa People that disagree with me are trolls... Waa Waa You obviously have no lives if you want to give up your personal information like an idiot...  Waa Waa  I'm going to prove why I'm unreliable with client data by somewhat outing one in a public board... Waa Waa...

And to think a grown ass man is typing out sentences about wah wah wah. At 25 I can think of a more constructive argument.  Outing my ass, my business has never been based on boards or hobbyiest so please say whatever and cry on your reviewer board like trolls do you aren't hurting me one bit. Or better yet go fuck your wife maybe? Ohhh wait if your wife wasn't repulsed by you, you wouldn't be a board troll right? You sicken me.
