Devin, whether you are staying at your location, or not. Invest in some sound proofing. Get that egg shell foam stuff that is used in recording studios and strategically place it in your apartment to blend in with your apartment decor. Speaking of decor, you can also dampen sound with lots of furniture that absorbs sound... Rugs, lots of pillows, plants, thick drapes for your windows. All that combined with some of the sound dampening foam should considerably reduce the sound and you can moan, groan and scream to your heart's content, without that much notice from those outside your apartment.
