Escort services and prostitution are not protected under intimate relationship because prostitutes and escort does not have full discretion who is their client. (See IDK vs. County of Clark 836 F.2d 1185) This court case open escorts, prostitutes, and their clients to police sting operations. Sugar relationships, on the other hand, can claim protection under the 14th amendment because sugar babies have full discretion who are their sugar daddies.   Sugar relationship is NOT prostitution but dating because there is no public business offering.  It is very close to dating except there is more honesty with gifts and monetary payment. Some sugar babies ended up to marry their sugar daddy. So sugar relationships are not anti-thesis to a committed or martial relationship.  If you got caught in a police sting operation because you use a sugar dating website and you did not solicit for payment for sexual services, you should find a lawyer and sue the police officer for violating your rights to intimate relationship. You may have a chance to have your case heard by the US Supreme Court and get a monetary judgment against the police officer and the department.

Sugar relationship (Sugar Daddy/Sugar Baby) is the only form of decriminalized prostitution in the United States.  Don’t read in the papers about police stinging sugar babies or sugar daddies.
Students trading college tuition and living expense for sexual favors is prostitution. But no undercover operation to make an examples of sugar baby college students.

tons of fake girls on there, some of them looking to rob men & guys looking for free sex, or even worse guys looking to cause harm.I love the idea of it but due to the lack of screening its not as safe a bet as seeing a reviewed provider.

However there are many pitfalls, including exclusivity, schedule & frequency...  and when the services suffer, walk away.

What married, professional man wants to be standing before a judge arguing the difference between prostitution and SB/SD??  After the divorce and loss of his job, he wouldn't have the money to pay an attorney.
