I feel that if the girl in the pic is not the one at the doo, it is your perogative to walk away. I always allow my "friends" this perogative, because I'd rather have one happy guy than 10 bad reviews. TER has suggestions for newbies, and so does the "big dog".

Being new to this hobby i got burned on my encounter.(see my review on sarah in san diego)I guess it's called taking one for the team.I would like to know of providers in sd who are between 30 & 40 yrs old that khow how to take care of a guy that might be a little nervous.also is it kosher to tell the provider that if the girl in the pic is'nt the one at the door it's a deal breaker.I want to try it again but am a little reluctant.Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sorry about your bad encounter.  Unfortunately, that has happened to many hobbyists.  Your review of the lady should be a big help to other guys in your area.  If you don't have one, get a VIP membership, even if only for a month.  Do a search in San diego or your area code for ladies in the age bracket you are looking for.

Seems to me, that if the girl isn't the one you expect you would be within your rights to walk away.  However, if she turns out to more to your liking than the one you thought you were meeting, you might stay anyway.

Good luck in future encounters.  Don't let one bad apple sour you on the hobby.  There are lots of quality ladies out there to meet.

If the girl at the door isn't the one in the ad, WHY would you go on with the meeting?  She has already proved that she can't be trusted, odds are huge that the experience will only get worse from there...

Send her packing!

Whatdafuck are you doing TakingOneForTheTeam when you’re a total Newb??

If you haven't learned your lesson first hand let me paraphrase it.
"Take the path most traveled".
Until you can sail uncharted waters without running your ship into the rocks stick to the major sea-lanes.

“Bait & Switch” is all too common with providers that have NO reviews. Conversely; a provider with many reviews (especially by prolific reviewers) is a pretty sure bet.

Get yourself the VIP membership here. The money and time you'll save with the extra information available will far outweigh the pittance spent.  Let your BIG head do your research and thinking. The results will be infinitely more positive.

I appreciate all the comments. As a newbie this is a whole new world,i knew absolutly nothing. The only good thing that happened during my encounter is she gave me the name of this site.Since then i have become a vip, money well spent.(I have a few girls in my favorites now)I just need to pick one and get back up on the horse. The reviews are extremly helpful, unfortunatly a few of the girls have no reviews so i guess i'll pass for now.Again thanks for all the comments

in the long run your money wasted on her was not really money wasted at all.  For one you have learned about bait and switch and odds are slim it won't happen again IF you take advantage of the best lesson you learned, i.e. TER.

You now have wealth of valuable information at your fingertips and as Freedomrider said, every date can be virtually a sure thing when you do your homework.

I am still new to this, too, but I have now had 6 very enjoyable dates and no bad ones because I research the dickens out of everything. I spent about 2 hours a day on TER for 2 months before I even ventured out and I still learn something new every day. Stay with well reviewed providers and read every review over and over. You will find tons of valuable information and know what to expect. That really lowers the stress. There is a reason I chose this handle!!!

you will find:  no reviews = pass and move on.  You are on the right track with a VIP membership and learning how to "walk" if you get a suprise at the door.  Happy hobbying.

you can't win it all by yourself... take the advise of those above seriously.  The ONE thing all newbies should do is research/research/research before doing anything... don't listen to that brain between your legs... it can be a volatile source of pain if you let it rule your actions - as much attention as it screams out for, ignore it when making choices - even when you become a seasoned hobbyist.
