It's definitely warmer than Minneapolis!

November thru February in Seattle is typically cloudy and rainy with high temps in the 40s. It might snow two or three times with anywhere from a dusting to a foot but it warms up and melts away within a few days. About once a year we get one cold snap that lasts a week with temps in the 20s, but overall, rainy & mild is the norm.

It looks like you can warm things up just fine!

I am from Minneapolis and NEED to get out of the arctic! I think Seattle would be nice.... cold but not dumped with snow, right? Any advice/suggestions are welcome :) Nov - January maybe... maybe longer if I find some nice friends!

Welcome to our beautiful state! I've lived in the greater Seattle area all my life, so the rain doesn't bother me like it does others.  But we have had some pretty cold winters at times, but nothing like Minneapolis.  Thank goodness it doesn't snow much here (knocking wood).  The weather predictions for this fall/winter is for mild weather with average precipitation.  January and February tend to be colder than November and December.  I can remember only one white Christmas in several years.  But of course now that I said that, the weather will make a liar out of me.  :)

You will love Seattle if you are coming from Minneapolis.  Definitely less snow and much warmer!
