Re: Why do you even care about the numerical score?

You are right, of course, but the numerical ratings can have a big impact on  provider's business.  If you like a girl and you want to assist her career you will want to give her the highest score you can reasonably give.  On the other hand I have twice had providers tell me they would refuse to White List me unless I gave them a very high score, one I felt was undeserved.  That's a game I won't play.

I did not ask this on the GD board because I know I'll get rational responses here.

First of all I am not a fan of using numbers to rate other humans. I did not review for 6 years because of a review disagreement where the previous TER management would not allow me to rate a local lady as highly as she deserved. (BTW she now gets 10's which are quite correct!) Nevertheless that is part of how TER works so I started writing reviews again.  New management is kinder and gentler.

I recently saw a lady who by the review rules could not have gotten higher than a 7 for performance by the review guidelines. I've seen her previously during my no reviews period so I went to look up her TER ID to write a review.  I saw that her last review has a 10 for performance. If you read the review there is nothing to indicate higher than a 7. She is a good companion who certainly deserves higher than a 7 because she makes me feel welcome and treats me like a person not a chore and I leave feeling good after a pleasant unrushed experience.

IMHO performance should not be rated on specific acts.  Lets face it, for all participants this is an act in which we are all players. Are we now allowed to rate the acting as performance rather than the act itself?  I sure hope so because these days I don't really care that much about what specifically we do, or any specific conclusion or how many times something happened but rather about how much fun it was to spend time with the lady BCD.

... and see if it has at least 3 of the services, like kissing with tongue and bbbj, that qualify the provider for higher than a 7. If she has at least 3 of those, she can get a 10 from ANY reviewer... those services don't need to be mentioned in the review.

And that policy has been around for a long time.

are offered, she is eligible for higher score.  It doesn't mean that those specific acts have to be done in the session with the reviewer, or mentioned in the review.  It's enough that they are offered in general.

I had the same problems with the Review Board, but I figured it out, every time they e-mail me to edit my reviews in accordance with the rules especially the NUMBER ratings, I always response and defend my reviews and cite Rule #10 last par. quote "your opinion really matter"

If we are talking about the number rating system of TER. The Review Board has specifically pointed out to follow the Guidelines For Submitting Reviews, par 2, which mentions the objectivity of the reviewer, quotes "be fair and honest" and par 7, which is the heart of the entire reviews, which specify the Numbers Points System, matching the what kinds of performance occurred. Escorts can only earned up to 7pts, unless additional performance was added earns 1pt each and max out to 10pts.

That is the reason why the the TEXT NARRATIVES is so important when you submit your reviews. You MUST SPECIFY in details and explain everything that was PERFORMED and ALL THAT WAS OFFERED in order to earned the points. So IMHO, TER is consistently fair. It all comes down to the reviewer's TEXT in the Juicy Detail to point out to the Review Board what was performed and what was offered and embed it with the reviews. Otherwise it's just plain cut & dry point system. And TER has really has been objective and very considerate that "your opinion really matter". when it come to submitting reviews.

Review Board Rule No. 7 par (a) & (b)

7. In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.

This does not mean she earns extra points for offering the service(s); just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is performed during your session with her. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she offers, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score

I have had messages from TER support saying that the acts must be mentioned, that the wording of my review did not justify the performance score I listed.

Has anyone of us entered a lady's door and said:

"Now I am not interested in having you perform the following specific services,
I am just inquiring if they are available"?

Until it can be established that a provider new to TER actually does offer the services mentioned in her profile, reviews must mention all of them OR they must be verifiable in some other way. For example, if a new profile has bbbj, the first review(s) must mention it or the extra point cannot be given. A different example:  profile says "really bi" but first review is just for the provider. In that case, other evidence can be cited to give the provider the extra point, eg mention in her add that she loves dates with other women.

Once a track record has been established in initial reviews or some other way, future reviewers can use the extra points in their scoring even if the service isn't mentioned in the reviews. Classic examples are for "really bi" and "two guys" when it was a date only with the one provider.

Yes, this is an Unwritten Rule.  TER has a few of those.  ;)

This has been covered before on the Reviewers Board, but not everyone has access to that so I thought it worth mentioning here.

I prefer to read the reviews and also look for a reviewer I recognize as someone who scores reasonably. With all the inflated scores being given out the numbers are meaningless.

I was with a girl, who was really great..
I asked her who she did doubles with.. She said.. " I don't do that.. ".. I said, your profile says your Bi.. Huh?
She said, she can't get high enough scores unless the profile says she is Bi.. but she' s not.. That is only there to get a higher score..
Sooo.. looks like some have figured out a rating hack.. I guess..

REALLY! ....
from a providers view.."Performance" means a lot !!
You can Be a real "hottie" and just lay there!!...
Most of my Gents..say the "session" was memorable because of  what really turned them on..and how much fun!!! it was! and what really made them Sensually exhausted!!
Oh lala
But  true!! the rating system can be confusing!!!
Hugs to all
Hope every one is having a great summer and staying cool!
Kisses..

The number systems weeds out poor performances, but from my perspective I'll look closely at and read reviews of any provider with above 6 on performance average if the pics and website look attractive.   You have to read reviews - i'd much prefer an ontime unrushed session with a person who was enjoyable to be with and seemed to have passion for the session than someone who was reallly bi, offered anal and did BBBJ .    So really excellent providers who give great service cant get higher than a 7 score, yet one or two tough reviewers who give her a 5 or 6 will, mathematicallly forever put her performance average at six point something.  So i usually look at individual scores and disregard a few outliers.

but what to do...they do give a certain quick picture of what to expect and whatnot to expect.  Thanks for not wanting to herd in a wonderful and sensual quality that misses the rating system.
