I will be in St. Louis at the end of the month. When I'm traveling, I love to hike to keep my mind and body in great shape. Are there any places near St. Louis to hike? The more beautiful the place, the better!!
...my favorite is the Weldon Spring Clark trail. But there are others... The Katy trail, Grant's trail, etc... Just google hiking in St. Louis, MO.
Katy trail great and you can see Historic St Charles. Also, slight drive to Castlewood State Park on Merrimac River.

There is a trail west of st Louis in st Charles county called the Katy Trail. It is along the Missouri river and is a great place to hike. There is also a new trail around several lakes in Weldon springs Missouri. ITs about a 14 mile walk. The real nice place to walk, bike or roller skate is creve Coeur lake. IT is in Western St. Louis County. Enjoy your stay. Please message me if you have any questions.
