I have found SBs are like stray cats, as long as you feed (pay) them, they tend to stick around. Although I suppose if they are hot enough, they go "climbing the ladder" as well and "trade up" to some guy who pays them more. I don't pay that much attention as I rarely get attached and after a few visits I tend to get bored with them as well. Not all, but most.
I've had a few great ones; after a few amazing sessions, they ghost. I have a few ongoing ones, but it seems like the amazing ones don't last. Is it me? (I don't think so. Except maybe I am old, 56, and they are young, teens to early 20s.)

My longest SB arrangement lasted a year, then she disappeared. Most of the others only last a few months. I keep hoping one more long term SB will cum along. In the meantime I'm quite happy playing with these sweet young women as long as I can. I'm currently with two 19yo SBs.
It has its ups and downs, but I love the SD/SB lifestyle.
I posted this because an amazing, hot, hypersexual18 year old Latina ghosted on me. (To give her credit, she texted me that she had to ghost, due to circumstances etc.) But since, she's come back, and it's glorious. So yes GaG, I think your stray cat simile is exactly right. If you feed them, they tend to stick around, but they can disappear with no explanation too.
My problem right now is money. If I had more, I'd see each of my (at this point) five or six SB's once a week. As it is, a few of them have been ignored too long. What a life!
I would just like to say that I am in my early 20s and have had a SB/SD situation for 6 years now. Not all girls/young girls ghost. That being said, men ghost too I have seen a few that abruptly told me they had to leave the hobby for personal reasons or whatever. But I think if the chemistry works and you guys have fun and can agree on terms, it can be a lot better and more fun than just the hobbyist/provider relationship. .
