Does LE generally look the other way when it comes to Porn Star "escorts". Almost anybody can read between the lines and know what Exotica-2000 and other similiar agencies are offering.

I've never heard about a sting on a PS agency, when you call and ask certain questions they seem to become pretty leary of you and thats why i haven;t used one in a long time

I had heard awhile back that Body Miracle was in some legal trouble, but don;t exactly what for, You can do a serach there was a few threads about it.

In general, most agencies will not answer specific questions unless you are a familiar/ regular client of theirs. Once they know you are legtimate you can ask the world and they will probably answer you.

Actually, this situation has alot to do with the fact that we pre-screen every single person that calls here...and unfortunatley ask for deposits...We realize most of you hate the deposit thing but it has alot to do with  safety and legitimacy of the person calling requesting to see a lady.  In retrospect...these precautions minimize any possible association with LE.  Just our 2 cents worth!! Have a wonderful holiday everyone.

Never ever ever give a deposit. That may help you screen but it does not mean LE is not on the other end of the phone.
a person could be an informant.

You may think that, but the truth of the matter is in cities like Atlanta where girls get arrested for showing up at the door for escorting without a license, (a charge that locals were being hit with long before they made the 1,500 license available,) a deposit is the difference between a woman's safety. You may not want to ever give a deposit but you'll miss out on some pretty fabulous women as a result.

HAPPY HUNTING

How much do ask for as a deposit?  $100?  $500?  Do you really think that a police department that gets thousands of dollars together for a drug sting would think twice about putting up $500 for a deposit in order to bust an agency?

You can do all the checking you want, you can ask for as much as you want for a deposit, you can even ask all the questions you want to "verify the guy.  But, if the police want to bust you, they will.  They will lie if they have to, they will set up fake ids if they have to, and they will pay deposits if they have to.  They can set up an operative on your phones and bust the guys making bookings.  It's happened - I remember such a thing happening in NYC a few years ago.

Btw, asking for a deposit and taking it to set up a date *could* be viewed the same as taking money for prostitution.  In other words, you're *more* likely to get caught by taking or giving a deposit than not.  Once money has exchanged hands, they can show intent.

Just some thoughts from someone who has talked to a number of learned people on this subject, including a couple of friends in his county's sheriff's department...

I recollect reading about sting operations that have been going on in the City of Chicago were the LE have acquired reposessed condos and houses, have created fake IDs, Credit Cards, Cell Phones and regular phone numbers. They were able to nail a few very famous Pornstars many of you have seen and models back then, but the main purpose of that particular sting was to nail the Big Fish (Agencies), mostly for Tax evasion and not prostitution (IRS).

I am also aware that similar operations are also occurring in Indiana, Atlanta, Florida (mostly in Tampa) and others Citis I do not recall.

IMHO, screening will eliminate most of the bad customers but not the LE.

Let us all wait to see what Mr. Ashcroft have in store for us this upcoming year.
