I think that today being Independence Day it's appropriate for us to be thinking about sexual independence and how culturally stifled we are here in America. Compared to accepted practices in certain foreign lands, the USA really is backwards in so many ways. I simply cannot understand why sex work is against the law. There's no valid reason that consenting adults should not be allowed to do whatever they choose, for whatever reason they choose. What happened to liberty and justice for all?
I think there's a lot more "underground" sexual activity going on in this country than anyone knows about. Like you and me, Dear Reader, most hobbyists do not advertise their activities. Nor do most people who participate in swingers clubs or polyamory or any other form of "non standard' sexual behavior. There's way more of us out there than you might think!
I see the biggest change in values in the attitudes of the young females I get to play with. The girls you and I grew up with were the first generation of women in human history to have control over their own fertility. With that huge change, they had the potential freedom to do as they please sexually. But they were brought up to believe that sex is dirty and that nice girls don't do that. They internalized these poisonous attitudes and have had to struggle against them their entire lives. Some of them never did try to free themselves from that upbringing. But many of them have admirably gone beyond these outdated ideas and have become liberated, powerful women as adults. But old attitudes and childhood training die hard. Even these liberated women often struggle all their lives to enjoy sex fully.
But many of the young women today don't need to be liberated, at least not sexually, because they never received that early negative brainwashing against sex. They love their bodies, they think pleasure is their natural right, and they have no inhibitions about enjoying and sharing that pleasure with others. I call them post-liberated women.
A good example is my current favorite playmate, a lovely little 23yo cutie. She's adorable, smart as can be, a fitness freak, and a total sex fiend! She avows that being a slut is something she's proud of and is just as much an inherent part of her nature as her height and weight. I'm so thrilled to have her in my life!
Another example is a 21yo I met for our second date just yesterday. She messaged me first. She suggested the date and time of our dates. She is very vocal and explicit about what she wants in bed. She's absolutely uninhibited about asking for what she wants and getting it. That is so unlike the girls we grew up with.
Here in America there's a suspicion about old/young relationships, so it can be uncomfortable going out in public with a young lady. But that suspicion is more common in the older generation than the young. Many post-liberated young females don't give a shit about a guy's age. Or if they do, they actually prefer us older guys because we have our shit together and know how to treat a woman right.
So I feel like a kid in a candy store! I never had the sexual variety I craved so desperately when I was younger and which I needed for my sanity and peace of mind until, at the age of 55, I discovered TER. Since then I've been making up for lost time in a big way.
Attitudes about social issues are changing fast. Maybe we'll live to see the day when consenting adults can do as they please without fear. As for me, I never imagined in a million years that I would be having the time of my life at this age! Happy Independence day to all my friends on TER.

people of today's generation are missing many of the things that we had, and these kids will never be able to understand those.
I was just showing my young ATF some cards and letters that I saved from my girlfriends of nearly 40 years ago. She had no clue of those things--where people actually wrote letters and put their feelings and thoughts into words and onto paper; but yet she thought they were pretty sexy and hot and something she would love to see and have in this present time. She thought that this generation swiftly and quickly moves on and away from issues that don't go their way---not very healthy, in my opinion.
Our time was a time when relationships were built on trust, patience, reflection, and anticipation. But, sadly, those days are gone forever.
Things are changing, but relatively slowly I think. We won't see it, but someday our hobby will be legal and accepted. However, could that make it somewhat less exciting?? I think so.

and I agree with most of what you have written. One of my findings as was yours is that women of our age are still quite repressed. They saw sexual intercourse as a means to have children and once their bodies changed and menopause occurred saw sexual relations as a chore forcing many men to make a choice. A good number simply say no more sex or make the male species feel guilty about looking for action. Either give up sex or turn to self pleasure and good porn or if they are financially able take advantage of those women who find providing services a good way to earn income, but many of whom really enjoy what they do. As we age, we find "sexual" companions who provide that form of physical release but also the needed factors of feeling loved and cared for at a time in our lives when we really crave that. That's why for many of us the MILFS are especially attractive. We and they don't need to worry about the changes that have occurred to our bodies and are comfortable with who we are. Plus less demand on feeling like we can perform the way we "thought" we could in our twenties. Every time I enjoy some time with a kind and thoughtful woman I return home to the "nest" feeling grateful and good about myself. i got to " underground " and gave up..i am getting too old to read this shit..my patience and dick are getting short..
When I was in my late teens and 20's I thought that having sex was fun. I must admit that I was shallow and mostly took into account the looks of the guy.
