concerning use of GPS for tracking us by suspicious SOs.

It has murky legal underpinnings.

on their GPS.  Which is why I never use the exact correct address.  I urge companions to use a nearby address, not the actual address, for the call point.  

Early on I recall going the adress a lady gave me but I could not find it.  It was on the left (odd numbered) side of the street but was between the 2 units that were there?!  I suddenly realized someone calling to me from behind me...  directly accross the street...  where she'd been watching.  

Lots of devises have GPS on them now...  I like a dumb old phone...  

I think in the cases of PI investigations...  if it's gone that far you are already screwed...  because they could follow you.  I had my ex followed by a cop buddy while I was at work.  (I never cheated on her or anyone else...  and didn't take up the hobby until 30 years later)  A SO does not have to produce the evidence...   and once they know for sure, evidence could be gathered by conventional means if needed.  Affairs, relationships of the heart, are much more invested & can't be switched on/off.
