I will be in Seoul last week of March and was wondering if anyone here has experience hobbying over in Seoul.  I've read articles about needing a korean guide and that the locals dont really reach out to foreigners.

If anyone here has had any experience they'd like to share that would be much appreciated.  How well did you do approaching locals or even trying to use those agencies.

Thanks

You can check out my review (she was Sarah Miehn). It appears she changed her name but she was outstanding! Don't be fooled by the "photography" approach on her website. She speaks excellent English (born in the USA).

I am also going to be in Seoul, but a little later than SDshyguy92... Looking for ideas on how to engage locally. What are the do's and do not's. Are there good agencies? How do you find independents and set up meetings ahead of time? Are they opened to foreigners? Not much on Korea here on TER, but I am sure there are some well traveled souls here who know the lay of the land.

Thanks
