Duplicate provider listings are not a new problem at all and I know about the policy of submitting a problem report with the information to get them combined.  However, I have a suggestion to reduce the frequency of them.

Most of us have gotten pretty good at searching for reviews as a part of doing our research before choosing to see a provider.  I think it would be helpful to the approvers of these reviews if there were a button added to the provider profile page called "Add a Review".  

When this button is used, the same blank review form would appear, but the provider ID would be captured and stored along with the review.  This way, the review is already "linked" to the profile and there would not be a need for the approver to search for the profile it should be attached to.  I'm sure this can be quite difficult and time consuming with different name spellings, phone numbers, typos etc.  

I'm sure that a majority of reviews submitted are for providers who already have a profile here on TER and I think this would be a major benefit to the admins and members alike.  Less time will be spent trying to submit problem reports and to approve them and make the corrections.  A clean database is a happy database!!
