Thank you sweetheart

So my life is short to being dull. I have an adventure everyday even when I don't try. Picture it:
Its a nice Saturday evening about 70 degrees downtown Chicago. I'm on South Lake Shore near the beach and loading dock for the boat. My sister was here visiting(she may even play with me if she moves here)and we do a lot of silly thing with each other every since we were kids so this didn't seen like it would go wrong..... WELL it did. We both ran to the end of the dock, the winds had the water moving really fast making medium waves. The second I got to the end of the dock a wave came I was frighten and I ran a second wave can and since the dock is made of metal my feet slipped and the wave carried me into Lake Michigan.
I thought I was going to die luckily a guy jump in to help I kept pulling him under so he had to let me go and two other came to help pulled me up. It took several minutes, did I mention I don't know how to swim(well I can in a swimming pool but when it gets to deep I panicked.) Only thing I knew to do was not go to the bottom. Survival mode kicked in the second I was submerged in water.

So first, really glad you're okay.  Lake Michigan is a challenge even for good swimmers so this sounds like a really scary adventure.  Now that you are past the "scared shitless" stage I hope you offer your rescuers a suitable reward.  Perhaps invite them over and practice some mouth to mouth, chest compressions, body to body warmth to prevent hypothermia, and finish with an oral expression of your gratitude.  If you didn't get their numbers I'd be happy to reenact it with you and take their place.  :-)

And glad the rescuers are too.
