...the vast majority of Las Vegas agencies are scams, rip-offs, or worse. Stick to any one of the numerous, beautiful, skilled, and well-reviewed independents in town and you will thank yourself after your visit.

The difference being the odds are probably not

If you can't find ANY reviews on a Vegas agency (search using their phone number), that's a bad sign. I would not use ANY other agency that Pretty Maids (an agency that DOES have consistently positive reviews here)- and looking for an indy as has been suggested is also probably what you should do. Figure out what you're looking for and go from there.

The thing is that most Vegas agencies are catering to out-of-towners, not locals- so they really don't have to worry about repeat business (the PT Barnum phrase about when suckers are born comes to mind here). That's why upselling and outright ripoffs (the girl in the picture not showing up, being told $$ on the phone and it turns out that's the agency fee) are so common they know they won't be seeing you again, so they try and see how much $ they can get while you're thinking with the little head instead of the big one). Do your research with the big head BEFORE you go down and you'll be much happier.
