I agree with having the booker acknowledge that it is not the provider. However that is very different from you subject line.

I suppose if a potential client weren't looking for free erotica, i.e. time wasting veiled as tantalizing conversation, then a provider having a booking assistant shouldn't be a problem.
I'm a busy professional and have zero patience myself for getting my flirt on with providers via email. 
What happens most often is the person I'm dealing with via email becomes flirtatious in the hopes of getting my repeat business. I then see the provider again, and she doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about when I recount something funny we shared by email.
