LOL  ... I'm sure I'd fit in Great there!!!  Wouldn't stand out at all  ;)  Thanks for the PMs.....

Good morning ! So after much contemplation,  and the suggestion of several hobby friends, I am coming to Chicago mid-October! Super excited!  I have checked hotels within the chain I usually utilize. Seems most of them are Downtown and Theater District.

Can anyone provide feedback on particular hotels or other areas I should be looking into instead ? Perhaps based on parking, ease of movement (either in the hotel or around it), other suburbs close to Chicago?  (And maybe walk to eateries. ..... a girls gotta eat when she's burning off so many calories  !!  Lol)  Or any areas to avoid?

Thanks, I appreciate any and all feedback !! Here or PM is fine too

Last fall I stayed near Grant Park. I'll be visiting again next month and this time around, I'll be staying near Magnificent Mile. I could see how it makes sense to host in the suburbs. But for me, I do prefer being super close to an abundance of art/cultural institutions, attractions, and delectable food establishments when I'm staying in a city I'm not super familiar with.

I am curious about what providers who are based in Chicago think.
