I like you. :)

Not being able to check in at hotels, early kinda sucks :( Has anyone ever heard of Airbnb.com or used it before?

WTF is that supposed to mean? By the way, you might want to try that Internet bullying shit on someone else because I'm not the one. Anyone can be tough behind a keyboard. Oh yeh, Bye Felicia!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Just be sure to ask the person renting the place about parking and if it's a doorman building. You want to stay away from staying at places that have a doorman for obvious reasons. Be sure to stay at a place convenient for your appointment to come as-well.  As for early check in, the upper scale hotels usually have no problem checking you in early. When you try booking through Priceline or other websites as such the hotel are not as gracious at letting you in early.

This of course is from my personal experience.

Thanks for the advice honey. I'm going to use airbnb next time.

checking in has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with priceline or any other website you use to book your room. It has to do with availability. I usually call the hotel ahead of time, and I am as gracious and gracious can be and I ask to talk to the front desk manager. I have never been denied early check in. In fact the one time I had to wait there were several other people waiting that booked directly with the hotel.

Maybe it was your approach in how you tried to get early check in.

I had a 10:30 set up for this morning but the provider had to reschedule since she could not check in until 2:00. Through off my whole day and now unable to see her.

Same thing here Stinger20 but 9am for me. I understand that normal check in time is 3pm but I usually get lucky and able to check in around 8:30am. The hotel had a full house last night so have to do normal check in time.

or get a slightly cheaper hotel the night before so you can take the session.  Just because you normally get lucky, it is not always so.  My suggestion would be just book one added day prior.

Also Air BnB is going to someones HOME.  Would you want to rent out your home to find out someone had been an escort using it to see clients while you are away.  Plus, they are super strict about check in times since they have to meet you or give the door code.  I use them for personal trips and would never dream of putting the renter at risk not knowing what I was doing there.

Good luck with future travels but please, keep your reputation but booking what you need, not hoping to get more just because they sometimes let you.  We all know check in is 2-4p

Just because you make your reservation for, say, a Thursday night for a Friday morning date does NOT mean you have to show up to check in on Thursday.
If you can that is best, but if your reservation will be for 2+ nights, you can always just call to tell the hotel that you won't be making it in Thursday night after all, but early Friday morning instead.  This definitely works best at larger hotels, but IMHO, it's best to stick with larger hotels whenever possible anyways.   ;-)

In the winter that works in Chicago. NOT in September. This is the worst month to try to get early check in.

Anyway, if I have a 10:30-12, I check in the night before, sleep over, do my stretches in the morning, (which consists of walking to Starbucks, then pulling the cup of coffee from the desk to my mouth,) get ready, primped, shower, and have my date.

Makes for a nice start to the day too, and you don't have to be too noticeable to staff. (As if they really care, but...)

if you have a high status on worldwide brand hotels (i.e.Marriott), you can get status as early at 7:00 AM.

1. Book night prior....takes all that fuss away, no sweating and no worry...not really fair to cancel on a client who pre-booked, sit a side a block of their time plus travel time to and from....

2. You can always call the night before, see if they had a full house...if not...

3. The higher end hotels are pretty ok with early check in.....

4. I would probably stick with option one....get there a day early. EARLY birds catches the worm.

Hilton or Hyatt for their member benefits...after few stays you will be able to get early check in and late check out
