No problem; Skokie is the name of one of the suburbs of Chicago, just north of the city limits. It's an odd name, to be sure, which comes from a Native American word meaning "marsh".

Are you thinking about visiting this side of the pond?  I'm sure I speak for all that we'd be glad to meet you

Does that clear things up a bit?  ;)
Kidding, of course.

The younger person's Deerfield or Northbrook? Huh.... Skokie is the old person's part of town... deerfield and northbrook is the younger person's part of town. Buffalo Grove is little Skokie except buffalo grove is all the russian jews and Skokie is the Israeli jews.

Younger = 20's-30's
Older (includes me) = 30's-40's

Agreed that Skokie has older residents, but they don't tend to be in the market for me.
On the other hand, there are plenty of young residents/doctors, lawyers, one pharmacist, lol, and others, mostly Middle Eastern, some Russian and Polish, with whom I am personally well acquainted. ;)
They will mostly move to Deerfield or Northbrook once their kids are in school.

I've never been to Buffalo Grove...
