I'll be there the same time.  I had little problem booking 2 ladies.  If I may ask, Who have you tried to reach? Just keep trying.

I have tried contacting providers for a get together on Saturday night but have not received any confirmations from any of them. I need some advice. Should I just try and call them when I get to my room or will it be difficult to schedule an appointment with only a few hours notice?  I have noticed that most providers like to have a few days notice. I just haven't received any emails back. It's kinda strange since I emailed them a few weeks ago when I planned the trip and they were willing to meet then.  Is this weekend a big event? I have seen posts on Poker turnaments, so I am wondering if it will be hard to schedule.

Thanks

you had confirmed sessions booked a few weeks ago, then your looking at possible no shows which is a totally different story ...these ladies names should be posted for dropping your set appointment if they don't show.  It sounds like nothing was put in stone and now you may have waited too long to set an actual time and date with a provider .. I would be polite and start calling to see if you can salvage what your e mails started .. you need to remember that ladies get tons of e mail and yours wasn't taken as a seriously as you might have thought, so call, be polite and act quickly .. good luck

- Bruce at Pretty Maids can usually work something out on fairly short notice. I'd call him before you go down, though.

or (not really an and)

- Contact some TER LV providers who make it clear they accept calls with a couple days notice before you go down and don't need weeks to screen/schedule you. First one through the gate wins.

Last minute calls= not so good. For one thing, it can be hard to screen you last-minute. At that point, you might as well almost do the bar girl crapshoot and see if you roll 7-11 or come up snake eyes or boxcars...

Usually, the advanced notice is for their piece of mind.  They want some references, referrals, verifications of who you are so they feel comfortable about meeting you.  Failing to give this type of information when requested and the delay in getting responses back for references/referrals can kill any plans to see the well reviewed indies.  And calling them without making them feel comfortable is probably a bad idea.  The other thing to note is that many providers get barraged with emails (hundreds or more a day) and don't really have the time to respond to all their email.  While the providers in your neck of the woods might be high touch, it's a bit different around here.

Apart from the fact that this weekend is the last one before Thanksgivings, some might have left town to enjoy the holidays with family and friends.  Not a bad idea since things seem to slow down this time of year (a lot of the big production shows go dark this time of year).

No big conventions in town (this was suppose to be Comdex week, not that it's that big of a deal these days, last year was piss poor, maybe 25000 attendees).

Sounds like I'm SOL - Oh well, live and learn. I didn't think it was going to be that difficult setting something up. It probably wouldn't have been if I would have realized the competition.

I am staying at the Luxor - do they have a good bar scene?

yes, the Luxor has a good bar scene ... also make the quick trip over to Mandalay Bay and check out the Island Bar around 11 to 2 am ... happy hunting....
