Nola has gotten itself a reputation for being cheap, trashy, and dirty, and it is not even a little bit undeserved.

I do think it's funny that there's always one guy who feels like he can speak on the hobbyists more than the girls can. I really don't mean it as something against you, previous poster, it's just that we are the only ones actually dealing with the market. We are the only ones who know what the guys are really like. We don't walk away from somewhere all that easy, and almost every city has someone who thinks it's a gold mine, but Nola? Nope. It's pretty across the board with the ladies. The guys are rude. They are filthy. And they are ungodly cheap.

Now, all of them? No, in years of friends and I going down there, we have collectively met ONE guy who didn't make us wonder if the money was worth dealing with him. So I guess you can hang your hat on that, if you don't mind bragging about those stats lol

It is a beautiful city though, and I think everyone should spend a bit of time there at least once in their lives.

For the ladies that have been to Nola on a touring basis was it worth it in your Opinion to visit Baton Rouge as well?
Pm or Post replys would be much appreciated! I am wanting to visit early September and the TER board  seems to be a little dead in Louisiana these days. Any advice on where to advertise besides would be awesome xoxo

There are not many clients willing to see someone above $200, and the advertising options take a hard stance on that, it seems. A lot of girls are giving it away, and there are very few... Gentlemen. You would have better luck in Baton Rouge and Shreveport in terms of both finding work, and finding someone pleasant to spend your time with.

The least heckling, least woman hating places to advertise seem to be P411 and TER. Everywhere else the guys do this weird "band together til she drops her rates" crusade, even to girls as low as $250. They'll even tell you about doing it, which I find pretty... Disturbing. Honestly.

Best of luck, I wish I had something nicer to say. It is a beautiful city, but the experience is much better if you enjoy it for what it is, rather than try to make it a profitable stop on a tour.

From a Guys point of view.
There are many hi-end providers that visit N.O. and do well here, we also have some hi-end providers that call this home, although it does look like B.R. is replacing N.O. for the place for you to go. Not sure why that is.  I am sure I know the everywhere else board you are talking about, it seems they have gone down hill in the last year or so. If you read the  discussion board you will see that it is dominated by a few like minded people. P411 is the place I go to when I am looking for a date. Don't give up on us.

I have also tried on two occasions to visit New Orleans to meet new "friends." Maybe I am not what the area is attracted too... but I did get a few calls from gentlemen saying I charged too much. Guess NOLA just "wasn't that into me."

I hope you have better luck. You might be what the area is more likely to enjoy. I would give it a shot.
