Personally, I think the Oakland Raiders have not really been the Oakland Raiders I grew up with since they left town and tried being the LA Raiders.  The Raiders and LA were a horrible fit and it was a short lived marriage, but I don't think they have been anywhere near the same team ever since.

I think the Raiders and Las Vegas will be a much better fit and perhaps I can go back to being a Raiders fan again.

Born and raised and have seen teams come and go albeit all were minor league teams

The only team that had a decent fanbase was the LV Thunder minor league hockey team when they won the conference title in the late 90's( 8000+ fans the 1st year but steadily declined yearly as the novelty wore off)

We just got an NHL team coming soon so we'll see how that turns out

Preseason games at Sam Boyd stadium in 100 degree weather isnt a viable option so don't see Raiders coming till the new domed stadium is built around 2019/2020
