Does anyone use a Pinger/Textnow/Textfree app for hobbying instead of a physical burner? It's not like a Google Voice number where the account is tied to your real number. It's completely independent.
Asking because on the rs2k signup form, it says no "Google Numbers" are acceptable, but these apps are fundamentally different and can be used full-time for communicating with providers. Has anyone been denied rs2k membership for this reason?

FYI...it a Google Voice number might make it harder to hobby. I know a handful of ladies that won't see a gentlemen that gives you a Google voice number, I won't see them either.
When you screen the number it usually says the carrier name and then u can choose to avoid it or not. Most ladies avoid as do. I prefer to visit with guests whose cell matches screening info they shared. I will question them if it does not.
But to each his own, do what makes you comfortable.
