Years ago one of my favorite activities was backpacking the many trails of the Appalachian Mountains here in North Carolina.  One summer a friend and I were on the Appalachian Trail and encountered a young couple - backpacking nude.  Their packs were on their backs and boots were on their feet, but nature ruled.  Of course both had "modesty towels" in their pack's waist supports to drop down if they encountered other hikers and she had a small towel attached to one shoulder strap that would attach to the other with Velcro when necessary.

We spoke casually and remarked that their experience muse be "refreshing."   They loved it, so my lady friend and I decided to give it a try with some improvising of equipment.  Yes, we had some unique adventures.

As I've matured - after enjoying this hobby for a number of years - I have learned to enjoy fewer ladies that are more familiar to "playing the field."  That pays off with the reliable ones.

Last week once more I called a favorite and asked if she would like to spend the afternoon and evening in the mountains and return the next day.

Once we began the drive to our destination and conversing, we began acting like teenagers.  Her hand was stimulating me when I was driving, and my right hand was doing the same to where her panties once were.  Taking the Blue Ridge Parkway we stopped at the Linn Cove Viaduct and went hiking a little up the mountain.  There on a large boulder we laid down a towel, undressed and played.  Fun in nature.

We then returned to my vacation home and relaxed in the hot tub, once again getting amorous with the beautiful mountain views ahead of us.  It was daring and thrilling as we could see some cars through the trees as they passed nearby.

We dressed for dinner and enjoyed a great evening meal, laughs, etc. before returning to the cabin where she miraculously proved that an almost retired man can still go on.  The next morning we made love again before arising for breakfast at a restaurant.

As we left to return, she asked if we could stop by the boulder once more.  We did . . . and we did.

We played teenagers on our return and a BJ while driving was wonderful!  5 times in 24 hours topped off with a BJ!

It was an ultimate fantasy date, and to think that a chance encounter over 35 years ago on the Appalachian Trail introduced me to the ultimate high of sex in nature.

I just wonder if many ladies would enjoy such a day :-)

Costs about $30 but worth every penny to make the itch & pain disappear.  I keep on hand due to poison ivy and poison oak in my yard (considering an Agent Orange air drop), and will use at the first hint of being hit.  Works like a champ!  First time was after a week of Calamine and Caladryl just not doing anything, got this stuff and within two days the area was healing over.

And no, I'm not old enough to post on the 60 & Over board yet; but peruse it for the grown-up discussions as a respite from the General board.  Just couldn't bear to know someone was suffering from poison ivy without knowing of a possible solution.

Thanks for the info Dude.  I never heard of Zanfel before.  Sure wish I'd had some back in the day.  I was a teenager working in a summer camp.  One of the girl counselors and I got frisky in the woods one night.  We both came down with a bad dose of poison ivy on our delicate parts.  I don't know what was worse, the affliction itself or the embarrassment.  All we had was Calamine which as you noted is nearly worthless.

I used to get it a lot.  But I think because of that, I now have some of immunity against it.

For severe cases, a doctor can prescribe a steroid cream (which helps more than anything), but that should be used in moderation because of the various well known side effects of steroids.   I found that saltwater really helps, so maybe take a trip to the beach.     Other than those two things, you pretty much have to suffer through it for about ten days.    Lastly, don't worry about scratching--that does not cause it to spread.

So, what does poison ivy have to do with sex?   It's an itch that just has to be scratched sometimes.

Asheville right this very moment.

Your story sounds like something right up my alley, unfortunately I can't be out in the sun.

I'm glad you had a wonderful time

Add a barn to that story and some twinkling stars...I'm atingling!

My college GF and I were going on a day canoe trip in a northern state, along with another couple.   We had two cars and after arriving at the entry point, the other couple drove both cars to drop one off at the exit point and then return.   We knew that it would take them at least 45 minutes to get back.   So, what to do while waiting?

We were totally alone in a picturesque remote area.   I'm not sure whose idea it was, but I think it was hers.   We laid down on a couple of towels on the soft grass, started making out and one thing lead to another.   Needless to say, I remember that more than anything else from the actual canoe trip itself.... other than the fact that we almost didn't make it to the exit point before total darkness set in.

And I still kind of suspect that the other couple took longer to return from delivering the car, for a similar reason.   As a result, we almost had to spend the night on the river totally unprepared.    Glad that didn't happen, because I don't think the girls would have liked that part of it.   In reality, both girls became our wives and we all still keep in touch
