(1) From time to time people on TER offer their views on that. The quote is only one provider's view but kind of supports the popular theory that older guys are less trouble. (I kind of wonder if older guys as a generality might also have more disposable income?)

(2) The quote comports with what many of us older married guys have said about looking elsewhere when the home hearth has gone cold.

Because if it was pre-internet days that explains a lot.  The older, better clients have found new homes, such as here on TER, where we can more easily find reliable dates.  No need to look for street walkers.
