Last minute cancellations hurt...*venting*sad_smile

I just need to vent. Chicago you have been killing me with cancellations for basically no good reasons (best excuse I've gotten is 'i thought the game would be over sooner') Drove over an hour to get in the general area of our meeting place. Got there early so I wouldn't be late. All of the sudden communication on his end comes to a halt. I'm on the city so I kill some time shopping and still hear nada from the guy. Finally an hour after our confirmed time I get an email 'Can't make tonight work'

And I'm not even mad. Just sad. To him it's no big deal, maybe a little disappointing. It's more than disappointing to me. I was so excited to go to the grocery store tonight. SO excited.

Last minute cancellations suck. I mean it's not always this bad of a situation and sometimes  it's like eh I wanted to stay home tonight and relax anyway.

I want to implement some way to implement a cancellation fee but I don't know how some of you ladies go about it.

I'm just so frustrated right now. Now I'm just stuck in the city with quite a few hours to kill before I can get home.  Ugh what to do in the meantime.

Amy of you ladies maybe want  to PM me about cancellations and teach me a  thing or two?  Anyone else looking for company ;)

Doesn't help that my website has been down so none of you have seen the new pics yet ;) I'll take care of that asap

I feel you..

I got out work drove from the burbs too downtown..

waited 40 mins to get a text and a e-mail later telling me her phone was not working correctly.

She touring and had lots of review

Shouldn't you all give the names out so these people would probably be a little scared NOT to do this to others???

I'm so sorry you've had a bad experience here.  There's been a lot happening in town the last few days:  two ball teams in town, the Dead playing their last tour, and the Taste of Chicago.  Not an excuse for a no-reason cancellation, however.

It happens to your clients, too.  I was off this site for a number of months in sheer frustration from a number of last minute provider cancellations.  One of them happened after I drove up for an incall and waited for a call at a Starbucks which never came.

You have my sympathy and empathy.

Feel better.

His Eminence

I drove over 30 min to an appointment on Friday.  Got to the pre-arranged cross street and nothing.  She wouldn't return my texts or calls.  A well reviewed provider but she completely blew me off.

I know them feels and it can definitely blow. If it's a last minute cancellation with no excuse or a oh well sorry can't make it, he'll just be someone I will not take another session with. It's unfortunate to have to lose a client that way but it's better then having my time wasted. I'm sorry that happened and hope you made the best of your time in the city at least!

I don't know how much I can stress that there is almost no excuse not to contact a provider or hobbiest before a session to cancel.  NONE....  If you end up in the hospital and your phone got run over by a car when you got hit by the bus, sure.  But sorry I can't make it less then 30mins ahead, or even after the session was to have started....COMPLETE crap!  If this happens to you by a hobbiest or provider, call them out.  They are never going to learn if there are no consequences.

And guys sometimes this happens to us all day long, every day of the week.  Thank goodness I see mostly past guests, the history seems to keep them respectful

Anyway.  Your Question, I will see if I can help you with.  Check out a few ladies sites who do have a cancellation policy in place.  Use that to come up with your own wording(never copy unless you ask 1st and then be prepared to hear no since we do work hard on our wording) and then add it to all of your ads so it is everywhere.  Also if you have a screening form add a box they have to click to agree they have read and agree to your cancellation policy before it will send through your screening form.  If not then as the last part of your screening send them a list of your expectations and your cancellation policy stating it is important they agree before you set the appt.  If you have issues collecting, and the guest is a P411 or RS member I believe both will work with you to collect your funds(but you have to have all of the above in place).  I know P411 at least will suspend the account until the gent pays the fee, I think RS might do something similar.  Of course you have to advertise with each.

Keep in mind I have heard that some ladies have been able to get the guys to follow through by reminding them that they agreed to the cancellation policy.  I would say also make sure your policy is realistic.  Some require 24hrs notice to cancel, others 2-3.  Make sure the notice you need is noted accurately so you can uphold your policy.  Good luck

To the guys who are getting NCNS, report that sh*t.  Make sure people know who to avoid.  If a lady doesn't want to handle their business properly she should get called out for it, hopefully that helps her realize it is a business and should be treated as such

Hello,

It is really disrespectful when someone texts you all morning confirming and the no show no call.. he just texted me 2.5 hours later asking: Is it late? common, seriously?

It is very disappointing and sad.

D.C. on the orher hand, was murder. I am not sure how many guys some ladies 'have to' see in a day's time, but if I get 1 or 2, that is all I need and I don't run into the cancelations as much doing it that way. Women who schedule 10-12 hourly dates/guys in a 3 day period, are at a higher risk of having this problem because you're dealing with more people that have to show up.

All I can say is it happens to everyone, everywhere so many times we have to change our marketing or rate structure to minimize that. You might even consider adding another city that is within 2-3 hours of the ones that are prone for canceling, so you can have options. I used to visit Bloomington and Springfield on the same visit... same with say Jackson Miss, Memphis TN and Little Rock Ar. It's tough when you fly and have these issues though, because you're kind of stuck... I get that, but if you drive, I would add another city into the mix.

Put a cancellation fee clause on your website... Also make sure to utilize the providers support sites where you can input the information of the inconsiderate client so others don't have to deal the same BS..... I have started REQUIRING DEPOSITS for all new clients due to INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE...  It's rude, Ill mannered and annoying when one cancels at the last minute specially when you could of taken someone else.... 24hrs notice of cancellation would be nice... (I'm dealing with an asshole who cancelled last min on fri....  My patience is running out...)

Also another annoying habits of an inconsideration: calling to schedule appointment on short notice... There's a process people, idk how others screen/verify but I require screening & verification which can take up to a 24hrs or more...

Ugh I'm right there with your. This is getting beyond frustrating. Especially the ones who email asking for last minute appointment and provide literally no verification info in their initial email. Last minute appointments are difficult but they can OCCASIONALLY  be feasible and your best bet to get that last minute appointment is to give us any and all possible information about yourself and your verification sources as possible.

How do you collect deposits or cancellation fees? Do you use PayPal or something of the like?

Paypal or CC reader... I have both.lol sign up for it it's a lifesaver!!!

I haven't had last-minute cancellations, let alone NCNS's, since getting more-or-less established in the hobby.  But before then, providers NCNS'ed or canceled a lot.  They had red flags like rudeness on the phone, poorly written or extremely terse e-mails, and weird requests like parking by her building and facing the windows when calling (then not picking up).  One went as far as giving me fake directions that led to a supermarket.  Reputable, well-known Chicago providers, on the other hand, were always very friendly and professional when scheduling, but I didn't discover them until a year or so into the hobby.

I think what worked against me early on was my age.  I was younger than most hobbyists when I started out.  This is no longer an issue.

I have been trying to schedule with a few different providers for weeks.  Ive had communication issues with all of them, either they are very high volume or just dont respond... I have 8+ Ok's on p411, so I really dont get it

Are you contacting agencies or independents?  I met some great independent providers once I got my foot in the door.  Until then, I hobbied with agencies.  The one I started out with was Polish Princess, followed by Michelle's Escorts.  The first one gets a bit of a bad rep on TER, but they got me my first experience, so I can't be the one trashing them.  Polish Princess requires you to have a Room Service 2000 (a.k.a. RS2K) membership, and Michelle's Escorts said they don't take new hobbyists.  Perhaps one of Chicago's favorites will be willing to see you; she'll stop by and post a link to her site.

Rambling aside, get an RS2K membership, if you haven't already done so.  And mention it when you schedule.  It'll help you immensely in the Chicago hobby scene.  P411 is less popular in Chicago than RS2K, so that might be a part of the problem.
